I got this to replace the light in my wife's gardening store room. We are in and out of the room often, usually from very bright sunlight into the room which has no windows. I had an occupancy sensor type switch and a similar LED light, but the switch location doesn't have a neutral so I never found an occupancy sensor that worked well, most left the lamp partially illuminated.There are a few things to know. The light comes with a hand held remote that controls a large number of functions. There is a bit of a learning curve, but the wide variety of options make it possible to customize the brightness, timing and sensitivity to fit the application. Be prepared to spend a bit of time the first time.The motion detection is very different from the IR detectors I'm used to. Being radar based its more consistent, and shouldn't trigger from heat sources the way the IR detectors do. The only minor issue I've had is that it will actually detect people through the door. I had to reduce the sensitivity, and move the fixture further from the door for this reason. But it's really reliable.Excellent light, very bright with great motion detection. This is a great addition wherever area lighting is required along with motion triggering.

I can’t say enough about Hyperlite quality. This motion light with remote control isn’t just a gimmick. You can actually set it to perform the way your needs dictate. The various settings are incredible, with things I never even considered, or thought possible, such as motion detection distance, and customizable dimming. When your needs change, reset to factory settings and begin again. I recommend keeping the instructions as there are a lot of invaluable variables. The two AAA batteries required for the remote are not included, but I can roll with that since we usually keep plenty of those on hand.My ceiling is 12’ high which is just short of being “High Bay” height, but I like using them anyway. Other lights that are wattage selectable require climbing a ladder to change the setting. On this one, grab the remote and program it in!Solid, heavy construction, suggests long life in this LED high bay. Not every workshop needs a light that is this versatile and expensive, but when you do need it, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying this one!

This light puts out a ton of light. It's best for a big space. The motion sensor works fine and it's easy to hang from a rafter. The only downside is it gets pretty warm. Not overly hot, but puts out a fair amount of heat for an LED light fixture. However, VERY BRIGHT!

This HYPERLITE LED High Bay Light is so bright that it hurts too look at it. Fortunately, you can dim it down to a more comfortable level, and the extra brightness is there when you need it. The remote makes setting just the right brightness level easy. The trick is to prevent the remote from getting lost in a busy work environment! The adjustable motion detection can help with that by reducing the need to use the remote. You can set the light to stay on when workers are active and shut down when they leave. It can help but doesn't completely solve the problem. Anyway, the light is well made, energy efficient, very bright, and adjustable to meet a variety of lighting needs.

I have a bunch of these (some better than the others) all over the place.Mostly in the workshop, greenhouse and garage.The fit and finish on this light is very good. No issues found.This is exactly as described and pictured by the vendor.Now I just need a couple more of these.Good deal for this quality light. Easy to recommend.

These lights are insanely bright. I love it. No more having to grad the work light or flashlight in most situations. Plus the remote makes it so I can adjust the light level from anywhere in the shop.
