This item looks and reacts like a live security camera. We have this at our cabin and it has helped deter unwanted visitors. It's also great at night when you need to see but don't want a constant light.

Installed this light on the side of the house where our car is parked. The light has been in place for a few months. It works perfectly. It has a small light that stays lit from sun down to sun up, but as soon as you walk or drive by, it lights up brightly. The motion sensor works perfectly, the light works perfectly, it was easy to install. I couldn't as for more!

UPDATE 7/6/20:The sensor is working now. I'm upping the rating to 4 stars.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Initially, for the first two days after installation, the motion detector didn't work at all. I considered it defective. So I gave this product a one-star rating. And I contacted the seller to get a replacement. The seller did contact me and offered to send a replacement. Then, starting on the third day after installation, the motion detector started to work...but very inconsistently. When the light comes on, it is quite bright and works well for security purposes.But it does not always come on when there is motion within its field. At least half the time, the motion detector FAILS TO DETECT MOTION. For now, I've decided to keep the light. My rating: 2 stars.The light is stylish; it's a beautiful piece of industrial engineering. But, sadly, mine does not work well for intended purpose.

Nice and bright

I have had these lights for over a year and they work great. I put one under our patio and at the front door. They turn on a dim light a night which gives the house a nice ambiance. When a person or animal goes onto our patio and comes up to the from door, the light turns much brighter (It is a great porch light). Since they are solar, the only issue for me was making sure to mount them on the corner of the patio or porch so the solar panel could get four or more hours of good sunlight each day. Overall great lights and well built.

They work ok except light is too dim

My handyman suggested this when I wanted him to change the light on my garage door. For him, It was easy to install. Took him 10 minutes when it would have taken me an hour. Looks nice on my white garage door frame. Best of all, it looks like it is a camera. The motion detect works well and the light is pretty bright.

Update- I have had this motion light hanging for a year. It’s been a great light for my deck door. The light is bright & has a decent range & detects the motion immediately.I gave this only 4 stars because I felt one negative thing: the light needs to stay lit a bit longer after triggered. It seems like only 10 seconds if there isn’t continuous movement.Even 30 seconds would be welcome!I would buy another one though. It was easy to install, bright, charges well & works well for the price.
