Love this for use on the UTV trails. When we ride in the fall or winter it’s nice to have a warm meal trail side.

Easy to use, I saw steam coming out right away. Items like rice, vegetables, soups got very hot. Meats like chicken and fish got warm, shrimp got hot. One thing I really like is that I found a good way to warm up cornbread. Overall I like the product. And plan to reorder the heating packets

I actually really love mine. It’s not a long term meal solution as it doesn’t actually cook your meals. It warms it up to a nice warm temperature and it’s super lightweight! Why I got it: emergency preparation. It was a great value too, and it’s safer to use compared to one of those camping flame cookers or building a fire, especially in no burn/ no fire zones. I can heat up a backpacker meal, or anything I want (already cooked) and leave it to warm up for 7-15 minutes max. I’ve already used it twice and it’s durable and fits well in my everyday carry bag or in my car. It’s easy to clean too! If you want a preparation food warming device, this is the one I’d recommend you buy. Also, it’s so easy to use! There are similar products to this one, but I think the Lava Jell Oven has overall worked the best for me. One caveat is that it may hold a little less food, but for the price of one you get 3 heat pads and 3 of the water packs. You can get a refill kit and have a total of 13 warm to hot meals. On their actual website, you can get bigger recharge kits, I just don’t know if you can find the larger recharge kits on Amazon. Great buy, get yours now!

Works exactly as described and intended. Best used with smaller portions, such as 15 oz or smaller soups or vegetables. Tested to heat an 18oz can of soup from 65f to 156f in 20 minutes.

Does not work if it’s not completely closed. I wouldn’t use this to cook food, but I would use to keep it to reward the food or to just keep the food warm. Also can be used for two bowls. I would recommend for the quality and price.

Great to hear up left overs at work or out in the field. I added water to heat up my MRE and it got it got hotter than the MRE heater did.

Not worth the money doesn't heat up like they say I have tried it twice now and doesn't heat up.
