I Have tried a many different brands . This one is the best by far and it’s a reasonable price . I can see a big difference to nails and hair in 4 weeks . I’m not sure I agree with comments about it being unpalatable I’ve had no issues in drinks and yogurt. Some other brands have a horrid aftertaste . I will be buying more.

TASTE & SMELL First, ignore the reviewers saying this tastes bad. If you stick your nose in the bag and sniff, yes, it smells fishy. So, don't do that. Add 1-2 tablespoons to a hot drink, stir, enjoy with NO fishy taste whatsoever. I have mine in hot chocolates or vanilla lattes and I literally do not taste any fish. In fact, I'm super fussy about fish, I usually follow a vegetarian diet and I've never actually eaten fish because I hate the taste, but wanted to add Marine Collagen for its hair and skin benefits. Now I am formally a pescaratian (Collagen powder only, still hate the taste of fish) This does not taste of fish UNLESS you stick your nose in the bag and inhale. Then it's psychological only. EFFECTS - SKIN Wow. I was impressed. Within 3 weeks of drinking it in 2x drinks per day, my skin was GLOWING. I mean it has a visible soft-shine like it had a real-life filter. I haven't added any other serums or creams into my skincare routine so I've put my new glow down to this Collagen. My skin feels plumper, more hydrated and firmer overall and my fine lines look softer now. EFFECTS - HAIR I've recently experienced patchy hair loss which was my main reason for adding Collagen to my supplementation routine. My hair is now growing thick and healthy, but I don't know if this is down to the Collagen or not. EFFECTS - NAILS My nails are growing at record speed since adding this Collagen to my diet. My nails have always grown fast but this seems to have put them into turbo mode. OTHER POINTS The powder is very fine and does not clump together at all. NEGATIVES 2x tablespoons is a large serving size. In a small mug, it's almost half full of powder. It takes 2 minutes with the frother to fully blend this powder. It doesn't clump together, but I've noticed some powder left at the bottom of the mug unless I stand there blending it for a good 2-3 minutes. This bag lasts less than 1 month if you use the recommended serving size every day. Perhaps 3 weeks. Perhaps Collagen capsules would be more convenient instead of blending powder into a drink if you're in a rush or leave your hot drinks unattended for too long until they go cold, then it is just a waste. Remember, don't stick your nose in the bag!!

Smell is very pungent in the bag, good advice from previous reviews just not to smell it! 5g has no noticeable taste in a mug of strong coffee with hot milk, and the powder completely dissolves. That dosage daily is enough for my needs after a bit of research. Very happy with the product source, purity and testing. 6 month review - all good, especially with hair which was main goal. After 6 weeks could feel growth on scalp, now as hairs get longer this is adding volume at the roots, so overall looks thicker. Visually a definite improvement. Skin was not a concern but poss. a slight reduction in fine lines, maybe a bit smoother. Nails no noticeable change. So for less than £15 a month (sometimes less if on special offer) I'll be continuing to use this product.

I’ve tried various powders of marine collagen and although this one does taste a lot less like fish it still has a dodgy after taste and I can’t bear it. I’m very sensitive to smells and textures so I’m sure it’s not that bad but it’s just not for me. However I really like the packaging and feel it’s very good value for a great product.

Like other reviews have said if you smell the bag yes it does smell fishy . I put 2 tablespoons in orange cordial and cannot honestly taste anything different . You can add the product to food or liquid so I am not sure what all the fuss over the smell is about . My hair is thicker and in better condition since I started taking it 3 months ago and my skin looks healthy and less saggy for my 52 years !

Have been taking this for a month now and not sure I’ve noticed much difference but had a few comments about my skin looking nice. My nails do feel a little stronger. There is no taste to this but it does absolutely stink. I’ve tried it in coffee, porridge and orange juice. I’ve discovered the best thing to do is to pour a little bit of boiling water on top of the powder, and stir it until it dissolves, then I top it up with OJ and then I just down it. When I had it in porridge, though I couldn’t taste it I could smell it and it put me off. If you can get paste the smell, then I’d recommend it but will keep going for a while to see if anything else improves.

I haven't been taking this long enough to review the effects but for anyone considering taking a supplement then I would recommend this. Yes, it does have a whiff of fish in the packet but I have been adding it to my porridge (made with soya milk) and I honestly can't taste it at all. I also added it to a fruit smoothie. I did try adding it to tea but I wasn't sure I liked it and I also added it to fizzy water (it froths up a bit at first) and surprisingly it tasted of nothing - I think the fizziness helped disguise any taste. However, I did notice a bit of an aftertaste when taking it just in a liquid, so I think for me it is better put into food. I don't think the packet with last long as you are using two tablespoons each time but if I di see an improvement within the next few of months then I will continue.

I've been taking this supplement for over a month and haven't noticed any changes. I don't know if it's for more mature skin (I'm 29), but I haven't noticed anything. I'll finish the 2-month Boots I have, but I don't think I'll buy it again.

This has a smell when you open the bag, but don't let that deter you. The smell goes away as soon as you mix it in to anything.

Consiglio quello marino rispetto a quello bovino perché è più assimilabile dall' organismo.

My gut works much better! It has some fishy smell and taste, but it doesn’t bother me. Is dissolves perfectly.
