Ubiquiti G5 Turret Ultra (UVC-G5-Turret-Ultra)

This is my second time purchasing this camera, our home is up to 10 cameras now that protect our perimeter. After years of playing with wifi based camera security systems I can't tell you how happy I've been with the Ubiquiti cameras. I've had my home system for about 3 years with Ubiquiti and i have 7 of their cameras mounted outdoors in the Arizona sun for multiple years and these devices just keep on going. I can't speak highly enough about the Ubiquiti systems. Easy to administer, easy options to customize your experience. I installed an NVR for the veterans resource center that I volunteer at and the remote monitoring makes it an amazing option for small businesses and for home use. If you've ever had a battle with your Homeowners Association this is how I've defeated them on multiple accounts. I've been accused of parking on the street over night, pulled footage and sent screenshots, that shut them up. If you're shopping for this product I don't need to sell you on security cameras, but if you're on the fence between this kind of system and a wireless based IOT camera system I promise you, your connectivity issues will all fade away into a distant bad memory when you install wired cams. Just no better solution.

Been using Ubuiti UniFi Cameras since the UniFi Bullet G2 cameras were top of the line. These G5 Turret Ultra cameras are my favorite. Yes they have better ones available but at this price point the wide angle view and longer night vision coverage is a great value. This latest one has replaced my last G3 in my home setup

I love that Ubiquiti products are so simple to plug-and-play. I've bought several items from Ubiquiti over the last few years and have been thrilled with the setup and reliability. The quality is definitely sufficient for my residential needs (just keeping an eye on things while I'm away). There are a lot less expensive options out there, but I'll always pay for the Ubiquiti experience whenever I need to expand my setup.

Good quality item and good price.

Works as expected in a Unifi environment/network. Would recommend this network IF you have the money! This is an easy turnkey environment/network to setup. Make sure your cables are new. You should be using POE on all APs and Switchs

These are great cameras by UniFi and well priced.

I am not new to up camera. So I can say that this camera is no another level the 2k quality looks better than my other brand 4k cameras. Love the locking mechanism. Other brand don’t really lock if you have a screw driver you can take them down. My only issue is them are so over priced. But that is everything Ubiquiti.

Great camera for the Money. Works well in the Ubiquiti environment.
