This is the PERFECT spoon rest. It is ceramic and easy to wipe off/clean. It is also the absolute perfect shape and size -- no more dainty little thing that can't handle the job. I can't recommend this item more.

I got the spoon rest in the color glazed green. The color is pretty and has a nice weight. Has enough space for our ladle or spatula when we are cooking. It is easy to clean.
