I bought a scout light with the pressure switch, used, from a friend. He had this cheaper ST07 Surefire tape switch on it, and I couldn't justify buying the $100 picatinny mounted dual switch. I initially had the tape switch secured with zip ties, until I melted one while I was training.I like to keep everything looking as clean and neat as possible, and this product seemed to deliver in that regard. Installation was easy and it sits exactly where I want it. The internal cable routing is such a great feature, and it even has an escape half way through on one side in case you need it.The key here is that this won't shift on you, which means you're in the exact same place for light control every time. Train with consistency and you'll be rewarded. Using this helps you achieve consistency in grip and light discipline.I removed the sticky tape portion of my switch, and added a drop of lube, to slide it in. It's secure and isn't going anywhere.From some of the pictures, it seems like this is a big chunky brick on top of your rail. See my included photos for how slim this actually is. You have to realize that it sits low on your rail, but looks bigger from the side because of how the clamps come down to secure it.It actually looks very clean and functions perfectly. Forget tape, zip ties, ranger bands... This is a very minimal weight difference but you get so much more out of it. In the unfortunate event that you find yourself in prolonged or sustained combat, you would be best served by a product like this. Everything else can melt and shift.My only knock on it is the high price, but you pay for quality. Don't skimp on the essentials.I'll likely run one of these on all my builds moving forward. I will update this review if I encounter issues.

I had the SureFire Scout with the SR07 and it did last about 2 years worth of heavy use but then I noticed the rubber piece that clamps onto the picatinny rail start to give out and break. I was looking for a replacement and came across this item. After looking at a few reviews on Youtube, I decided to pick one up. It looked blocky and bulky online but this is very streamlined and sturdy. Perhaps the most sturdy remote switch mount you can purchase for the SureFire or Streamlight remote switch. It mount's solidly onto the picatinny rail and has a relatively slim profile. I am super happy with the purchase and I feel that this will last a lifetime of heavy use.

This was just what I needed. The reason for not giving it 5 star was only after had to remove it to adjust the cord I noticed that the screws sit right on the rail and when I tightened the screws down they really marked up the rail on the gun which doesn't necessarily bother me but may some one else.

It does exactly what it’s designed to do. It holds the switch to your rail and is by far the most secure way to do it. The channels help manage your cable quite well. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, but be sure to get some loctite for the threads. The only thing I’m not terribly keen on was the price, don’t get me wrong, incredible quality and the fit/finish was flawless. I would definitely buy again but would try for a sale if I could. The CLOUD DEFENSIVE wml switch mount is a well made and rugged option for affixing remote pressure activated tape style switches to fore end rails commonly found on most modern AR-15 style rifles. The mount attaches securely to the rail and provide positive retention of the tape switch while providing a measure of protection. It allows for easy manipulation of the switch and clean installation. I give this device an enthusiastic two thumbs up if one is considering this tape switch mounting option.

Read the directions. Be patient. Do NOT try to install it without a means to secure the gun so you have two hands. once it's on, it's really cool, cleans things up, and is rock solid.

Great product! A little pricey for its purpose but beats zip ties , Velcro or most standard mounting methods. Doesn’t take up much rail space and the built in wire guide is fantastic.

This product is really solid as far as construction. However, installing it can be a little tricky. I failed to get it right the first time and after some shots, the device dropped from the rail. As long as you install it well, it is great.
