Porcelain Fish Bowl - Imported from China and is Painted in a Traditional Japanese Satsuma Style Pattern Planter - 10" Diameter

I previously wrote a review on this and am happy to do it again. What a beautiful bowl at a great price.

For the money, I’d expect better quality control at least. This wasn’t VERY expensive for a fish bowl, but it could at least be glazed neatly. On the inside there are all these black raised spots. Looks like there was debris and they just slapped the glaze on over it. I don’t expect I’d get something better if I tried ordering again. It would just be another rushed together piece. Good thing a planter is going in it to hide the mess. But it shouldn’t be that way. We should all be receiving better quality items. What is Amazon selling these days? It’s like dollar store stuff but not at dollar store prices for sure.

Gorgeous! I would give it a 5 star review except that up close it is obviously a screen decal applied and then some hand painted details over it. So it looks great from 5+ feet away--just depends on what you're going to do with it. I have several actual antique pieces, that are not the cheap modern decal-applique sort, so keep in mind I'm comparing this with "the real deal." But this is a much better price than the real deal, too. For the price, a solid buy. Well packed, arrived in great condition.
