Near perfect EDC camera + flight bag
Simply one of the most robust, well thought out and flexible camera / carry-on bags I have owned. Love the flexibility of the compartment options. Just enough space for my 15” MacBook Pro, Nikon Zf with Voigtlander 40mm f1.2, Nikon 135mm Plena f1.8, flash head, filters, headphones, sunglasses, wallet, water bottle. The only modification I made was to buy a non-brand black padded tripod case that I strap to the back, as the Manfrotto BeFree folds up the opposite way to how the backpack is designed. It also keeps the tripod covered and draws less attention to it. Lots of strap options to hang clips and bungees from. Love the side access to the camera. Just a perfect bag that discourages you from over-packing. Discreet. Solid. Well worth the money.

Excellent Size and Quality!
This is not my first Nomatic camera bag. I also have the 35L bag from a few years ago— it is still in great shape, and is perfect for hauling a ton of gear (I mainly use it for on location dance studio photo sessions), and I won’t be letting it go anytime soon, but it is too big for regular photo sessions or for when I use my gear for personal shoots (I’m a rather small woman and need a smaller bag for my frame!). I needed something that was a little smaller and so I purchased the sage 18L. It is great so far, and appears to be the same great quality as my other Nomatic camera bag. I also have a Peak Design camera bag, but I just didn’t love it so was looking for something else with great design, and comfort. My Nomatic bag is much more functional for my purposes and I love that it can fully open from the front for easy packing/unpacking. I love the design and it is really comfortable to wear, even when fully packed. It doesn’t scream “camera bag with expensive gear” but still does the job of keeping everything safe.

Almost perfect
Small but lots of room , enough compartments for all your camera and accessories….. almost the perfect camera backpack. The only thing that I don’t like , is that the side camera access is not big enough. Only good if you have a small APS-C camera. Anything bigger than that, it won’t work . You’ll have a hard time trying to get your camera out …… I would still recommend, best camera pack I have used .

Small but high quality
Very well made bag. Definitely small, you’ll have to be very intentional about what you carry but it’s very convenient!

Great bag but too expensive for what it can do

Quality control requires attention
Received my camera bag today to find the inside lining was torn. Very disappointed at the quality control. I must now go through the unnecessary process of returning this bag and ordering another hoping that it will arrive in time for my upcoming trip.Update:Upon receipt of the replacement bag I realised that the tripod cinch included with the replacement bag was not included with my first order. I am as such of the mind that I received in the first instance a damaged/defective returned product. It is interesting that there is no way of telling otherwise given that the packaging and labelling may be opened and then reinstated. I am truly baffled by the aforesaid.

The color isn’t what it seems
I bought this backpack to replace the wandrd provoke 21L because it didn’t fit my needs. The nomatic backpack is an amazing backpack for my needs. It fits my daily travel camera set up (Sony a7R3, 3-4 lens, extra batteries, laptop or iPad Pro, and camera flash) and it all fits with some space to spare. It’s light, comfortable, stylish, great quality. The only thing that I didn’t like was the color. I bought the sage color and based on pictures and reviews from YouTube it looks like it would be a sage color or a washed out green which sounds/looks nice, but once I got it in the mail it was more of a mint color. Don’t get me wrong the mint color is nice but it’s not what I was expecting or wanting. Overall I definitely recommend the backpack but choose the color wisely.
