Was broken and didn't even look like the picture very disappointed Didn't taste good at all. Not buying again.

So I've had bamboo before but these were different than I've had before. They do look gross just from taking them out of the bag and don't seem fresh at all, they look off and dead... I guess that's a difference from having it fresh in a restaurant than pre-made in a bag like this. The flavor wasn't there but it is spicy to me, so I needed milk on hand.

Didn't like anything. I've ordered from other companies from Amazon that were way better. Will not order from this company again

Omg it’s delicious. It’s spicy n I love spicy Must buy n try it! But sorry I forgot to take picture of it I ate it all. lol

These bamboo shoots are unpleasant looking up front, gray and pasty and 'dead' looking.Their texture is fine though and their basic flavor is what you would expect from pickled shoots, however, the spicy nature isn't great. It's a sneaky, flavorless spice where you don't even notice it for several seconds then you experience a not overly powerful but stronger than what most western palettes would like burn that again comes with zero flavor, it's just hot for hot's sake.
