This is brilliant “picker-upper” around the home. Following a replacement hip operation, so many previously simple tasks have proved to be so difficult. This gadget helps me with dressing. Reaching things from adjacent tables, like medications, which are just out of reach. And it seems that because bending down to pick up anything dropped accidentally is a real chore, stuff regularly throws itself onto the floor! The worst offenders are Pens!! Needed for Puzzles etc. I’ve been amazed at the wide selection of “things” this Picker, picks up.

Yes good sturdy grabber

Really pleased with this. I've ordered as a Christmas gift for my grandad. A really solid grabber with a great feature of being able to fold down and away which is very handy. All the clips feel solid and sturdy, and are very easy to clip together which I think my grandad won't struggle with. I've of course used it round my house grabbing various items and have felt it's got a good grip and the magnetic attachment is very handy.

Good value and reasonably robust,a previous one was mostly cheap plastic,and snapped.Worth paying a bit more.

This is a great item to have. Folds into 3 so can store it easily. Long reach so can use as a grabber or litter picker. Highly recommended.

Excellent, although not used yet it is sturdy and robust. Folding was easy and great to keep in a drawer or boot of a car. The small magnet I am sure will have its use.

As a vertically-challenged person of 5 feet 4 inches, I use a reacher grabber regularly in my home. I have one in the bedroom for use in there and in the bathroom, and another in my kitchen. Both take up some space when not in use. This one folds up in a "Z" shape. There are locks on the handle at each joint. The instruction manual is in multiple languages. This is light weight, easy to use, gets the job done, and then I can fold it until I need it the next time. Please note: This is NOT to be used to change light bulbs. They have this caution in several places. I do not use my reacher grabber for that purpose anyway. This style which folds up is much nicer for me.

This grabber is really well made, and is such a clever design. It folds up really effortlessly, and I appreciate having the option to collapse it down, for easy storage. The latches where it has to be locked in to the "open" position, are very strong, but easy for me to manipulate. I have arthritis in my joints, and will have flares occasionally, that make stretching and reaching for items a challenge. This grabber is of a perfect length, and holds items tightly, whether they are tiny, or larger. I use them for reaching my boots, and assisting with putting my feet in. I also use these to reach behind my dryer, when the clothing from my laundry shoot, gets lodged behind the machine. I'm super appreciative for such a sturdy and well made tool.

Although I am about 5’4 (and a half), or I used to be, there’s always a sock, washcloth, or something small (like a cotton face washing round) that requires me to stand on tip toes and reach deep into the clothes dryer, sometimes bruising my gut or just over stretching. This grabber has solved that problem. It can life the weight of the smaller items, even when wet. What I like about this grabber: - it has a nice silicone grip which I’ve used to move glasses from upper cabinet shelves with no damage to the glasses — it grips well, seems fairly precise - it has a small magnet on one end of the grabber for attaching to keys, screws, dropped sewing needles, etc. - it has space in the handle for a loop to make hanging easier (I’ve got it on a 5-lb command hook) - the bright color makes it easy to locate and is more cheerful than the usual black and silver - it folds in half for storage or travel - the cord that makes it work is metal - it comes with instructions - the trigger handle is a lever and easy for my hands to use What I would change: - I would love to see a locking mechanism, so that once it’s gripped something, you don’t have to concentrating on holding the trigger down or worry about dropping what you’ve grabbed. Note: it’s not recommended for changing light bulbs, and while it can lift 5 pounds, the manufacturer recommends lifting lighter items - to about 2 pounds.

This grabber tool is very sturdy with a strong grip most importantly. One feature I really like that most grabber tools don't have is a flexible rubber grip around the grabbing end. It helps with the initial grab to make sure the object is secure. It is also useful for grabbing onto and picking up paper that is flat on the ground. There is also a strong magnet on the end, which is great for retrieving metal objects that have rolled into a hard to reach place. I just used this to retrieve a screw that rolled under my dryer during a repair. This handy tool (no pun intended) is study and should last a very long time.

We like that this grabber folds in half to save space and it's easy to unfold and fold back up when not in use. However, it's not as long as expected but does work fine to pick up something light that's fallen on the floor and you don't want to bend over to reach for it. We primarily use this grabber tool with our cat that loves to play fetch with her mouse toy but doesn't always bring it back to us within reach. So far it works well and allows us to play fetch with her without having to get up off the couch whenever she drops her toy mouse a couple feet away.
