I have owned many frisbees in my 52 years on this planet, as a child growing up in the late 70s/early 80s they were pretty much compulsory during the summer, and we used to spend hours throwing and catching them. One of my favourites was a luminous one that glowed in the dark, after a period of time under a bright lamp. Unfortunately it never maintained the glow for very long, so was used mainly in the day like the others. As a big gadget fan, I was mesmerised when I chanced upon the Tosy RGB Frisbee - 16 million colours from the 108 LEDs in 36 positions, and brighter lighting than I’ve ever seen on a light-up frisbee before. This was a veritable UFO! And it would finally allow me to frisbee when the lighting’s not great - even during the night! So I ordered it immediately, even though I had concerns that this would be the most expensive frisbee I’ve ever owned, and I hoped the build quality and lighting would justify the cost. I needn’t have worried, when it arrived it ticked all the right boxes - it’s fantastically well built, and the LEDs are powerful, and there is zero likelihood of being able to damage them as they’re built-in to, and covered by, the transparent rim. All the simple controls are on the underside of the frisbee, where you can set the brightness, how long it stays lit up/game mode, the patterns, and the main colour using pressure buttons that won’t be triggered accidentally in normal use. In the air, it is a thing of beauty - once you’ve seen it fly, you’ll never want to go back to a frisbee without LEDs. It’s easy to throw and pretty forgiving if your technique isn’t great, or if, like me, your frisbee skills are a little rusty. Even my 82 year old Mum has had a few goes and loved it, it’s ’fun for all the family’ as they say! When it lands, it continues to flash so you can find it easily in low light/nighttime - I’ve found this an invaluable feature which makes it much easier to find. And it even comes with a mesh storage bag you can slip over your shoulder. Friends’ kids who’ve seen it have been just as mesmerised as I was, and played with it for hours on end. For me it’s brought the frisbee into the 21st Century, and long may it be enjoyed by the current and next generations. If you don’t try this out, you’re doing yourself a disservice, because it’s frisbee, but it’s more. The LEDs make it all the more exciting and entertaining, and mean you can still use it when it’s not daylight. It’s definitely worth the price, and more! A very easy two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the TOSY Flying Disc, but wow — it completely exceeded my expectations and my kids love it. The 16 million colour RGB LEDs are insanely bright, even in daylight, and at night it’s like throwing a mini UFO across the sky. The smart modes are fun to experiment with. It’s rechargeable via C Type, so no constant battery buying, and the charge lasts for hours of play. The build quality feels solid, and it’s waterproof — we’ve used it on the beach with no problems. If you want a frisbee that looks like it belongs in a sci-fi movie and is built to last, this is the one.

Such a great product! Works really well and charge lasts a reasonable length of time. Its very durable, I was very pleasantly surprised how well it did, especially when hitting the ground really hard! Amazing customer service, would definitely recommend.

Brilliant disc and very bright in the dark. We purchased for a family camping trip and it was loved by everyone! Definitely recommend for some family fun. Tested in a pitch black location and it was lovely and bright!

**Updated twice. Feel free to skip to the end** I completely agree with Patrick. We love playing ultimate after dark (we also use light up cones and capture the flag light up bracelets) in low light. (Pitch black is dangerous Don't try it!) Our 36-LED red disc came today and we were super excited to use it. (Thought more lights would be too bright for ultimate.) My son and I took it outside at dusk. LOVE the smoothness of the disc! It flies true to your toss. LEDs are nice and bright... Until someone misthrows and you only have a few seconds to run to it before needing another light to find the disc. Would love a permanent on feature. Outside of that, it's a great disc! Updated12/3/22 Recently purchased the 36 red LED disc in white. MUCH easier to see than the black discs. Disc flies beautifully and charges quickly. Was disappointed that my new discs did not include the new *120* option on the timer button that I see in the photos has been added since my original purchase. Was happy that my husband accidentally ordered a second disc, as the battery died on the first after about 90 minutes and we weren't quite finished with our ultimate frisbee game. Love the smoothness of these discs and how easy they are to charge. Having the LED lines imbedded in the discs is fantastic. Eager to try the latest disc with the *120* option. That would definitely be a step better than the countdown timers that shut the lights off after 10 seconds. Happy to see his company reading reviews and working hard to perfect these discs. Almost there! ***Updated again 12/26/22 I think they've nailed it! Kudos to this company for reading reviews and working to improve their product. The white disc with 360 red LEDs is perfect for playing ultimate frisbee at night. I love the option to have the lights stay on longer. Really don't need the maximum brightness - blindingly bright - but keeping the rim constantly lit while we are playing is so much nicer! Just bought a second 360 disc because the battery does die after about 60-90 minutes of play on a full charge. Will keep the 36-LED discs for warm up. Glad these are on a reduced price right now. $70 is a lot for a disc but I would definitely recommend the white disc with red 360-LEDs to anyone looking to play ultimate after dark. Great disc! The lights will last for 2 days,and the freesbee is completely unbalanced, complete cheap product

Nice, standard weight LED frisbee, let down by the fact that, despite the product description, the flashing patterns and colours are not in the ‘standard’ model but some upgraded version. The person I got it for likes it anyway but I wouldn’t recommended it and, if it were for myself, I’d have asked for my money back. Even the packaging on the actual product is highly misleading.
