Yes, these can be messy. But they are just what we were looking for. They turned out beautiful for our 12 young girls. (We bought multiple sets). I recommend using a good amount of the white glue and allowing it to dry thoroughly before trying to adding the grout.

Made these with 5 grandchildren. Needed adult supervision, but all did well. Youngest is 5 and she was so proud of her creation. We created the design on paper first which made the placement easier and without regrets. Kit is complete. Don’t put unused product down your sink! It’s cement. Would buy again.

Fun project to kids. Everything is open and go really. But read instructions if kids are doing project make sure they put enough grout. Anyways easy to do for an art project.

It's very good kit. My kids enjoyed doing mosaic coasters. It's a little messy but it's worth it.
