USA National Parks Journal & Passport Stamp Book : Peter Pauper Press Inc: desertcart.in: Books Review: I love the hardback style. It's slim and easy for travel, quality build. I've already bought one for me and three of my friends because I love it so much, I wanted to share it. It's already encouraged me to visit more national parks and even has pages for a few other national locations, plus extra pages in the back for those you visit without specified pages. I wish this maker had a big version for all national parks to include historic, preserve etc, but I love this one as it is too. Convenient for stamps at visitor centers to commemorate your visit and lines to log your adventures. You could even put small pictures of your visits if you didn't want the stamps and has a small pocket in back to hold maps, photos or anything else. I absolutely recommend this to any adventurous soul that is looking for an excuse to travel to new destinations. Can not compliment this journal enough! Review: Well built and enough space to write down your impression of your journey

The thing I love most about this journal (and the reason I chose it over the official parks passport) is that there is plenty of room for stamps for each site, as well as plenty of space and prompts to write about your memories from the visit. Some of the bigger parks might have 5 or 6 stamps and I love having them all in the same place. There are also several blank stamp pages at the end of the books for other NPS sites you visit that aren't National Parks.

I had a lot of fun shopping for one of these journals and this one was top pick out of dozens. I love the cover art which is lightly embossed, and the blue sky has a very cool, slightly used, scuffy look. The covers are truly hard and the pages are SEWN in. I'll be able to toss it around and not be too careful with it. The map is rudimentary. (The National Geographic journal had the most interesting map). The inside design color is warm grays and the pages are very slightly toned off-white. The over-all look is masculine. I will add my own color with stickers and colored pencil and pen artwork. I will try some watercolor on it, and will report later. The writing prompts are simple and not annoying. I'll use my own prompts It lies flat when opened. There is a large 3x5" section for passport stamps. Here is one thing I do not like about the page....there is a watermark type design in the passport stamp area. I would prefer a completely blank spot for those stamps and preferably an entire blank page for drawings. None of the National Parks journals offered that, so I'll draw over the lines. There is a good use of space on the page. All 63 National Parks are included...and I was surprised to find pages for other National Monuments, etc included.. In the back, there are eight 2-page spreads for additional stamps or drawings or notes. Alas, those are printed all over with the watermark type design. And an envelope in the back. This book is too heavy for a back pack. But I'm going on a driving trip to Utah in two weeks. I can't wait to try it out.
