Good product, does what it says, isn't quite as good as my last Braun silk-epil but it is half the price of my last depilatory. Some people reviews complain about pain when using the depilatory, but some discomfort should be expected when pulling hair out by the roots, the about of time felt gets less over time, as the hair gets weaker and I have found the I have less hair growth now after using an depilatory for the last 10 years, I epilate my legs, under arms and face. It's an inexpensive way and a great way to remove unwanted hair without chemicals or risk of cuts.

Great hair removal epilator. Comes with multiple heads allowing you to adjust your technique, it is waterproof and holds its charge well. It does not snag or pinch the skin which is a must and it looks great. I’d highly recommend

Really good epilator but it is a bit scratchy compared to my old one. It seems to feel like the tweezers are a bit more protruded. However it is quick and efficient! Got it under a good deal too and the eye brow and mini tool for cleansing it’s a great little bonus and dabbed me loads of money on my eye brows s as easy to use yourself!

A very good product. Easy to use, it keeps its charge well with the battery lasting a long time. It is less painful than cheaper equivalents. If used correctly it leaves a smooth finish with all but the finest hairs removed. Despite this It does still sting a little. I would definitely recommend this.

I bought this epilator to replace my old Braun Silk-épil 5 Power 5780 purchased about 10 years ago. It was basically the same epilator but with additional accessories. I was hoping that in 10 years the silk epil 5 would have improved in terms of noise or pain level. It hasn't really but this is not an issue for me. The noise level is standard and the epilator is not really painful. I've been using an epilator for 25 years so I'm not so sensitive anymore. The additional caps that I got with my original silk epil do fit the epilator head of this silk epil 5 model, which is great as this model has very limited accessories. I don't think I'll have any use for the bikini shaver at I use the epilator head and the shaver head for my bikini line. People have commented on the plug. From my experience epilators come with a shaver plug which you can't connect to a normal socket in any country. You can only plug it in the special bathroom sockets... Or use a shaver adaptor. So nothing weird with this epilator. I've always used an adaptor. The length of the cord is definitely shorter than it used to be. My old cord was 227cm long whereas the new cord is only 124cm long. 1m difference is a big change, but I've personally always used an extension lead so the shorter cord is not an issue for me. I considered going for a wireless epilator this time but though that a corded one would be more powerful, more reliable as you don't need to remember to charge it or worry that it will die before you're finished. Also I was concerned that I may need to change the epilator earlier due to the battery alone. Overall I'm happy with this purchase. The epilator does pick up extremely short hairs as well as longer ones. It's very efficient so that you don't need to go over the same area twice. I did a full leg (including thigh) in 7min (I'm 1m62), which I consider to be a quick time.

The Epilator came with a continental plug. I bought a universal converter for an English set up, and still it did not work. I have tried everything without any success so I cannot comment on its efficacy.

I use to wax my legs but always struggled getting all the hairs. This thing is a game changer. Lovely smooth legs for up to 3 weeks. Does sting a bit but not as bad as waxing.

Le chargeur ne rentre pas dans la prise de courant française. J’avais un ancien modèle, ce qui me permet de l’utiliser, je suis très déçue.

Leider ist der Stecker nicht nutzbar da er nicht in eine deutsche Steckdose passt. Sollte zumindest irgendwo erwähnt werden. Sehr ärgerlich.
