Primary Review: Quite silent and moveable due to its smaller size than expected and lighter built but air delivery is very much scarce, cooling is just satisfactory only when placed near the bed and that too along it. Seems costly with regard to its size. Suitable only in a small room with a single person/bed. The louvres are quite hard to be manuavred. It is comfortable only when the cooler runs constantly but the only other pluses are its not being chilling or disturbing. I bought it after a lot of research but found it just meeting basic requirements of a cooler. It recommended to buy this cooler directly from the local market at around Rs 750-Rs1000/- less. I bought it with extended warranty so not worried about its life much. Overall: an over exaggerated product not meeting the advertised performance standards. Buy it only if you require only a light, silent and cool breeze over your body at a premium price. Secondary Review: One of its fan blade got shared off from its while running within 15 days of actual service and it took me a while to get to the service centre which didn't provide any further support. I had to get it returned to the seller vis Amazon Customer support and they issued me with the refund.

I bought it a week ago and I found it nice product, yet noice is normal and it gives sufficiant air, but it's only good for smaller rooms not for large room, One issue that I found water distribution isn't perfect, it may be due to honycomb pattern. Yes, it contains 40liter water which is sufficiant for 15-18 hours continuousely run. It gives full air but not cool air when it is full, because of the water temprature, so add some cool water in it. That's my POV.

Update- Using this cooler for around 2 months now. The air throw is good. However a lot of water had started to leak. I raised a complaint at Orient Customer care via email and got my cooler fixed the very next day. Loved their prompt service. I would highly recommend Orient products for their service. Loved the product. Sterdy body. The size is perfect. 3 feet tall and slim look. Easy to move around. Cools the room quickly and the air throw is amazing. It would have been perfect if it had an ice chamber above. Water inlet is a bit small. But the product is overall great. Completely worth buying. I highly recommend this product.

I have used extensively for two months and maintained it well. Pros: 1. Good Air throw 2. Good Area coverage 3. Swing function is also good covering close to 150-160 degrees horizontally and for vertical you can adjust the wings. 4. Not that much noise initally, but after a month or so, the noise of the fan increases slightly. 5. Water capacity is decent and can pull through the night inspite of being very dry climate and if the tank is fully filled. Cons: 1. Water inlet is at the back and very small passage you shud get used to it pouring without messing. 2. Ice tray is missing but you can remove the honeycomb behind and drop ice if required 3. Cleaning and flushing out water is slightly inconvenient but it's possible and need patience. 4. Power consumption is higher than fan and lower than AC. But, continuous usage of 10+ hours consumes a lot of electricity. AC we won't using that much. 5. You have to keep windows or door open, still in bedrooms behind the Cooler itneill be hotdue to temperature difference infront of the cooler and behind. This is entirely depends upon the ventilation. The biggest disappointment is my cooler fan broke and fell into the water tank hardly 2 months and that too not any external physical damage and it has been well maintained. I have been charged 450 rupees to change the fan inspite of being in Warranty. They claimed it's plastic part doesn't fall under warranty. Online or whatsapp service registration is not user friendly, even though I live in a metro, my pin code and location or not displayed and showing wrong area. I have to login through personal call. But, the service was prompt as mentioned and repairing done as per the requirement.

I purchased the Orient Electric Durachill 40 L Portable Air Cooler on 27-29th May 2025, and by 2nd July 2025, it had already stopped working! Pathetic build quality and even worse performance. Within just a month of use, the air stopped passing completely even though the fan was running. This put pressure on the blades and ultimately the blade broke down. What’s the use of a cooler that doesn’t pass air? Absolutely zero cooling and just a buzzing fan inside a dead box. Totally disappointed with Orient – I trusted this brand but clearly, it’s not reliable anymore. This product is a complete failure. Feels like a waste of money, time, and energy. Their customer service is slow, and even the warranty support isn’t responsive. ⚠️ I strongly recommend others: DO NOT BUY THIS COOLER. It’s better to invest in something more reliable than regret later. Orient Durachill = Duracheat!

After using more than 3 month, I writing this review. For like smaller rooms it suits well. Air flow, cooling was good. Water drain was not able to remove from outside, it has to remove from inside. Apart from this all looks fine and good.

Best cooler air flow was so powerful and value for money ofcourse, it's functions are highly technical
