The sand works great for my shrimp tank. It's a really good product. Do you pour the water in slowly? And I would use like a plate or something to diffuse the pressure. I used for Skip coating ceiling texture on drywall. Works like a charm.

The size of the rocks are larger than expected. They are also not polished and have a very dull surface and will stain over time. I would not purchase this product again.
