These are good quality pressure gauges. A lot of gauges at this price and higher are very cheap/cheesy, but these have a good quality feel to them. I use mine for water on my reverse osmosis system and they function really well and the price is great.

Appears to be a glass lens ( info I could not find before ordering ) and of good quality easy to read and looking forward to not having a yellow lens in a year

This 0-30 psi guage works perfectly for my application. A pressure guage needs to be sized for the expected pressure range. A guage is most accurate over the middle third of it's range (10-20 psi for this 0-30 psi guage) I use it on the discharge of a water pressure booster pump that supplies 20 psi when turned on and so this guage is ideal. The guage is well made and easy to read with two adjustable red sliders on the guage body which I use to denote the normal operating pressure range. It comes well packaged in bubble wrap and comes with clear instructions for "burping" the guage if it's not reading zero when it arrives. It also came with Teflon tape for a leak free installation. In the video you may notice that the installed guage is not reading zero when the pump is turned off and that's because I have an overhead water tank supplying about 3 psi of head pressure even when the pump is off which the gauge is reading correctly.

I have had a pool for 30 years . The pressure gauges never last long. Maybe 3-4 years. So I don't invest a lot of money in them. This pressure gauge was not expensive but looks above the rest. Heavy duty and has oil between the view glass and the dial. I have no idea why but it is the first one I bought that had that feature .It also has a couple of adjustable red clips so you can set them to a value once the filter is backwashed. The second one you set in what pressure you want to indicate when it is time to backwash. Again a feature that I have not seen on my other purchases . So far after a month the gauge works fine. Happy!

Fit the 1/4 NPT opening on my pool valve (Hayward) okay - use plenty of the Teflon tape they provide as the fit was not overly tight. The range indicators are just plastic - no clue how durable they may be. The glycerin liquid does not fill the chamber you can see, so not sure what value it's really providing. It seems to function well and reliably, but I've only had it a few days. I replaced another one of similar value I purchased on here that lasted a bit less than 2 years.

This easily replaced the gauge for my pool’s sand filter. The previous one was purchased from a local pool store & lasted less than a year. Hoping this one will last longer but at this price, it doesn’t break the bank. This guage is bigger & easier to read. I will update if any issues arise.
