Perfect size/shape
I needed something to use mostly to vac the lanai as I didn't want to use our house vacuum cleaner with all the pollen dust that comes in. This works like a charm, and I don't have to worry about ruining the Dyson filter. The stainless body cleans easily - so much more so than the less expensive plastic vacuums! The suction is not like the Dyson (of course!); however, works well for the intended job. I gave it a "4" for maneuverability as I feel the cord could be a little longer. When I was trying to get around the table, I pulled it a little too much and it tipped over (something I'll need to watch). It will be used to vacuum out the cars as well, I am sure (we have plenty of extension cords in the garage). It comes with a bag that can be used for messier jobs so that the inside doesn't have to be cleaned out. They sell a 3-pack of the original equipment Stanley bags right on Amazon. Don't know if I'll need them, but I decided to pick up a 3-pack just to have available. A little pricey, but well worth it in my opinion!

Works great if you empty it regularly
I used this shop vac at my mother's house to suck up crud between tile so I could grout. I was VERY impressed with the suction power. When I went to put it away, I noticed some balls of dog fur in the corner, so I wondered how it would work in that case. IT'S AMAZING. I "vacuumed" her entire living room (all ceramic tile) with the little vacuum head (it comes on wheels so it's easy and precise to use, no need to bend over) and it looks fantastic. My mother said the only problem with the wet-dry vac is that YOU HAVE TO EMPTY IT PRETTY OFTEN because if the canister gets too full, it loses its suction power--I believe this is the resolution to the problem that led to many bad reviews by previous buyers. So empty the canister often! Mom said she's even picked up rocks (not pebbles, ROCKS) with it. The suction power is there!I'm coming here to buy this same shop vac to use in my house which is entirely tile/hardwood floor and full of dust bunnies of dog fur. It's much faster to use this than sweep! And it picks up the fur balls much easier than a broom does.. no more chasing those little buggers around the floor.

This is a very nice vacuum with some drawbacks.
I liked the canister and powerful vacuuming. Using the connected extensions allowed nice reach. It’s louder than I expected. Disappointed it didn’t have the blow feature; vacuuming only. The major complaint is the filters. I tore the foam filter trying to reinstall. I didn’t like the paper filter because of the single use. Had they supplied several one might learn to like it. There is no brush attachment.

The suction is very strong and achieves the purpose.
Very powerful.

Needed this & it was a great price!
My sister had told me about this wet vac, and I have been needing one, to do maintenance on several house projects and to even clean my car. It’s very quality and a great size, lightweight. It’s tall and thinner than some shop vacs, so takes up less storage space. All this makes a win!

DANGEROUS! Exploded and started on fire!
The media could not be loaded. On the very first day using this it exploded and started on fire. I happened to get it on video because we are renovating our house and have been documenting little snippets of the journey. It was still on fire and throwing smoke into our house after the video stops. We immediately unplugged it and pulled it as far away from the walls and cabinets as possible.I researched this item before purchasing, and it seemed safe. It claimed to be safe for vacuuming drywall, which is what we were using it for. It also states, "you can use it for a long time without frequent cleaning of the trash inside. You just need to close the cover, connect the hose, and plug in the power. The 4.0 horsepower makes it easy to suck all kinds of debris, garbage, dirty water into tank.".During the first half hour or so of use we cleaned the filter frequently and emptied it long before it was full despite being told we don't need to. The fire happened about an hour or so into use, if that. Plus, it was not running for that full hour. There were many breaks in use within that hour. With an average rating of 4.5 among almost 4k reviews, maybe we just got a bad one. Regardless, BE CAREFUL. I am SO thankful that no one was severely injured and our house did not start on fire!

Cumbersome
I bought this small model for my basement, and I will say it is powerful,,but the cord is really short,so I cant use it outside on my car,and the can tips if you pull too hard, and the hose already cracked from me pulling it.The hose is hard plastic so if you turn it bends and cuts off the suction and as mentioned I caused it to crack.I would return it if it wasnt such a pain. I give it 3 stars,it has great suction, long hose,,good attachments, lightweight,,but the weight also causes it to tip everytime you pull to far,,the short cord is annoying becuase you have to hope there are outlets in the areas needed,so cant use it on car,and the hard plastic hose is not flexible so if you pull it bends and mine cracked,so i cant even use this and wish I just bought the standard shop vac.Waste of money

Very pleasantly surprised!!!
Compact but worth it since it does the job of any larger sized vacuum and can be hidden away easily. Simple and easy to put together. My apartment isn't huge so I didn't need something taking up so much space. This is so easy to carry around and while people complain about the length of the cord I barely even noticed. I also think thats something any extension cord can resolve. Highly recommend, extremely powerful, easy to clean and great size.
