Well made. Nice idea for potty training little boys.
This was a nice toilet seat for training a little boy. Unfortunately, it was bought for a very small toilet in a preschool setting. Seat is itself, was just a bit too large for the actual toilet seat. It will fit a standard size toilet perfectly.

Perfect training seat for oblong toilets
I really wanted to teach our 2-year old son to use the toilet once not first on a plastic potty then again on a real toilet. The first step was finding the perfect seat for him that could fit onto our toilets. I bought another product first that claimed to be for oblong seats but it kept sliding and really scared our son away from the toilet. I took a break for a few months while trying to find another seat that would provide a more secure base for him and came across this one. It sits perfectly and doesn't slide or swing around and my son is confident using this. In less than 1 week, he was using the toilet successfully for #1 and #2. It is very easy to clean with a wipe or soap and water and so quick to place or remove for when he needs to use it or the adults need to use it. The hook to hang it is so neat and allows us to remove it when he goes to bed for the night, for example. We have had the hooks in place for a few months - one on a wooden surface and the other on wall - and neither has shown any signs of falling so far. The splash guard is a thoughtful design too because he doesn't always sit still when he does a #1 so that prevents urine from getting everywhere. I really love this toilet seat and would not hesitate to recommend to other parents. We place a basic step stool in front of the toilet for him to get up and it works well for us. We haven't tackled nighttime training just yet but when we do, we've got just the tool we need in this potty seat to get the job done!

So far, so good!
Our son is 19 months old and started showing signs that he may be ready to start potty training. I wanted a seat that went on the existing toilet, rather than a separate training toilet. I chose this one because of the reviews, and because it looks sturdy, simple and easy to clean, and has a little shield for pee, which seemed like a handy feature when potty training a boy. We've been using it for about a week now -- we're not hard-core potty training yet; just introducing him to the concept. It's working well! I need to find a stepstool or something that's tall enough for his feet to reach while he's sitting on it. And I wish there were little handles or something on this, too, to stabilize him a little. He always seems a little freaked out when he first sits down, and I think he feels unstable up there, with nothing around him and nothing to hold onto. He's fine after a minute or two, though. We let him play with a toy or a book or something while he's up there, and he's fine. This little seat is also very easy to clean, and the opening is big enough so I don't have any trouble cleaning my son up while he's on it, but not so big that he's in any danger of falling through it. I bought a Command brand hook to stick to the side of the vanity to hang it on, rather than using the one that came with the seat -- I wasn't sure if that one would come off clean or not. My only other complaint is that the seat sticks to my son's legs a little, so when I lift him off up, the seat comes, too. Not a big deal, but that does seem to weird him out a little.

Next best thing to a "built-in" child seat. Best for occasional use.
We use ours occasionally for when the grand kids visit. Other than the type of child toilet seat that actually is built-in to the adult seat (way better for everyday use but also more expensive), this one works well for what it is and is easy to install and remove for cleaning. You do have to find a place to store it when not in use. It is stiff enough, not too flimsy and does the job, so no complaints.

One of the best potty training potty seats
One of the best potty training seats out there. Works great. Non-slip, stays in place, has pee-guard, fits toilet seat well. Our 3 year old granddaughter loves it.

Great toilet seat for boys or girls
Arrived quickly! Seems to work fine and of good quality. I like the self sticking hook I used on the side of the toilet tank to hold it out of the way.

Love the simplicity, frustrated with messes
We're on our third child potty training, and I've learned I hate stand-alone training potties and foam potty seats (they always end up disgusting!). The simplicity of this design and the ease of cleaning were very appealing after seeing something similar at a friend's house. And I do love those aspects: it is super easy to clean. However, the hook it comes with didn't last more than a day in our house. I gave it more than 24 hours for the adhesive to stick before even hanging the seat on the hook, but the first time my toddler took the seat off the hook himself, it ripped the whole hook off, never to stick again. The loop the seat hangs with is so small, and made of the same gripping material that goes around the seat to keep it from slipping, that it also grips the hook itself, causing a good amount of friction when removing it. But the most frustrating aspect (because it makes no sense) is that we routinely find urine on the toilet seat after lifting up the training seat. Despite the urine guard dropping below the height of our toilet seat, there is commonly a spray of urine on the seat when he's done. The physics of it are thoroughly confusing to us. If this weren't the easiest to clean training seat we've ever used, I probably would have tossed it already. All in all, it still meets my top expectations: - It is easy for my toddler to use himself (despite the hook malfunction). - It is very easy to clean (no foam to soak up urine, no cracks, few crevices).

The lip at the front is perfect for preventing overshooting! Fits a standard toilet seat & has a grip to prevent slipping.

Great, started using this at 4 months with EC worked well at this age for a little bottom. Other seats had slightly larger openings so this was a great fit for starting young. Doesn’t slip much and is pretty sturdy.

My grandson loves this seat so much, he asked if he could take it home! I think it fits their little bottoms so much better because it is smaller and rounder than other potty seats. Easy to clean and comes with hanging hook. 10/10
