I returned the first one as I thought it was missing a charging cable. lol. Turns out they don’t include it. It’s “c” connector too. I’m taking a star away for not including a charging cable. It’s kinda annoying and stupid as I had to go purchase a separate cable. Just charge bit more and include the cable.. 🙄 other than that, the light is easy to use and it’s magnet feature is great. Very portable and handy to have. Lighting makes all the difference in the world for selfies.. it smooths out the wrinkles, dips and valleys and you look photoshopped natural, not freaky photoshopped. :)

The magnet is very secure. It also comes with a sticky metal ring for older iPhones and Android phones. - Charging Port: USB-C: This is a rare feature at this price point, and it's very much appreciated. - Controls: The dials are really easy to adjust on the fly. This comes in handy for macrophotography. - Versatility: This light can be adjusted and extended in a lot of ways, giving you greater flexibility in the way you can use it: forward, back, and sideways! You can also control light intensity and temperature.- Value: At $24.95 MSRP, this light is a good buy and a decent value. Cons 👎- It Wobbles! It's not as bad as it sounds, and it is most noticeable when fully extended, but you will feel it. - Handle With Care: Not all plastic is created equal, and this light is better made than most at this price point. But I have reasons to doubt its longevity. - I wish the two halves stuck to each other magnetically. Maybe in the next iteration! The bottom line 🧐I have no problem recommending this little light to anyone shopping for a pocket light. It's versatile, has decent build quality, and is reasonably priced. It's effective at arm's length, but I wouldn't go past 1.5 feet! 👉 One more thing: This seems like a white-label product. Companies shop from a catalog of existing products at different quality grades, feature sets, and price points. Then they leverage their buying power and slap their brand name on the box. Works great! Extends out of the base, and swivels so you can have it even over the to top of a pro max vertically. There's a usbc port, a button and two wheels to control the color temperature and brightness. It's a shiftcam for 1/4 of the price.Whether this slips depends on your case. I tried this on a number of magsafe cases, I kinda am a case ho, , and so far ESR cases I have had the stronger internal magnets. This thing, as well as the grip handle sold seperatly, snap on and hold with good force.

Does not stay on my phone using an iPhone 15 pro. Any little bump knocks the light off. Would not recommend.

I’m getting to know Ulanzi quite well these days. Kinda like a new best friend, I’m spending allot of time with their stuff. Translated, the more I use it, the more I like it and subsequently order more of it.This selfie light is another example of their product line that is quite remarkable. I’ll get the caveat out if the way; it’s plastic. But in turn very light weight.This light easily attaches to the back of my iPhone Pro Max by way of MagSafe magnet. It just sticks on. No adhesive needed. On and off in a second. It resembles a lady’s compact. One half of it peers around the backside of the phone and when turned on provides great filler light for stuff you’re taking pictures of. It has reasonable power but I think is best suited for macro shots and close portraits. But you can change the intensity and temperature (warm to cool lighting) of the light.On the outer rim there is a long press on/off button, two rotary dials to control the light and a usb c input to charge it. It even has three tiny white coloured led’s to show charge status. Wow.I have not had it long, but I’ve takes close portraits, selfies and macro shots of food and small objects. In each situation the light is brilliant.Though obviously not as convenient as the built in flash, this has the beauty of providing warm lighting and this makes a significant difference in many situations.At first I picked it up and thought it’s a shame it’s light plastic. But then, using it on my phone and hardly noticing the extra weight, I get why they made it this way. Ulanzi generally makes quality stuff, so even this being plastic, it’s well made. And works wonderfully.I won’t write too much about about storage as it’s quite obvious this is small enough to be in the pocket of your jeans or easily kept in a purse, manbag or backpack.Great item. Very useful for daily photo activity.Recommended.
