Indeed waterproof and washable!
We have had this dog bed for more than a year now and our dog sleeps on it every night. It is not saggy, but holding its shape and still comfy. The foam seems like decent quality. We have also washed the cover many times. I love my dog, but I have to have a clean house! We tried several other doggy beds before this one and they all retained smells or turned into matted snarly messes in the washing machine even if they were “washable.” This cover washes up nicely! And no doggy smells with this one! Also, we have tested the waterproof liner. Our dog was once sick and threw up on his bed but the foam mattress was fine - it was protected. Washed it - no problem. We also took our dog to a sitter and unfortunately, there were some other dogs without manners who went potty on this bed. I almost threw it away, but again - the waterproof liner did its job. Instead of throwing it out, I handwashed both the liner and the outer cover in a bleach solution (risky - I know, but I was so grossed out!) and then ran it through our washing machine. Came out just fine! This dog bed is the way to go!

Great bed
I wish it didn’t cost so much but the quality is high so it is worth the price. Love the variety of sizes.

Huge comfy and waterproof
Waterproof aka accident proof. Didn't shrink in the wash. Big enough for my dane. Seems like it stays cool and is super comfortable. Love it!

Cheap quality, NOT WATERPROOF
Product arrived with a small hole punctured in the bottom cover and supposedly waterproof cover. I had to jump through so many hoops with how I had to email the company through the amazon portal and then provide pictures through my actual email because the system wouldn’t allow me to upload pictures that it took forever to receive the replacement cover before I was even able to use the bed. When the replacement covers finally arrived, I put them on the bed and allowed my dog to use it. I purchased this bed for my disabled 13-year-old lab/shepherd mix that has incontinence issues. The first two times that she had an accident it seemed to be OK and I wiped off the “waterproof” cover and replaced the outer cover. The third time that she wet her bed, however, was overnight, so it probably soaked in a bit longer. When I went to change the cover, it was more wet that usual and I wasn’t able to remove the smell from the waterproof liner with just wiping so I removed it to wash and then noticed that the foam insert was soaking wet with urine. It was not supposed to be wet at all. The description said the liner was waterproof, but it wasn’t at all. After the leakage through the liner, I attempted to hand wash the foam insert in my bathtub. Washing it caused it to separate down the middle because it is cheaply glued together (see pictures). The foam also started to fall apart just washing it by hand.Furthermore, after washing it and squeezing it out, it never dried. I let it air dry in a well ventilated area for 7 days and the memory foam was still soaking wet! It is obviously not meant to be washed at all. This company should really consider changing their customer service procedures because the ridiculous amount of time required to communicate with “Faye,” was so time consuming and frustrating that my time is worth more than the price of this bed.The time and effort required to even get a response from them far outweighed any outcome that resulted, which has only been a replacement cover so far—despite Faye telling me in a previous email that they would send a replacement bed out right away as soon as I messaged her again through the Amazon message portal. They should really provide an old fashioned phone number so that customers can reach them more easily. Save your time and money, buy an Orvis waterproof bed instead. That’s what I’m doing after this experience.

Thick!
I love the material the cover is made from. It cleans up nicely from fur and dirt. Also the bed is very thick, I have a big yellow lab so I wanted a bed that she could stay comfortable in and not hit the ground. All of my animals love it, even my cat who loves to use it as her slip and slide while playing lol.

My dog likes it, for me it's good but pricey.
You get what you pay for I guess and this bed is no exception. It came all compressed and rolled up but after a day or two it mostly refilled it's shape....still a little wrinkly on top though and that would be my only negative. It probably came back to about 90-95+% it's original shape...so not too bad.I got the medium bed with grey and black trim and I'm glad I did. Why? Because the covering is like a thick heavy denier nylon type material that stays cool (live in Florida) and is super tough. Yes though, as others have stated it can be a little noisy when you dog is jockeying for position. Think about toe nails scratching on canvas but amplified because of the mattress shape and size. So not super noisy but you will hear it. My dog is not in my room so not a big deal. He sleeps right outside the door in the hall and it works perfect. The noise is over now anyway because you get used to it. Although at first I thought my dog was more annoyed with the noise than I was but then he warmed up and after about 3-5 days started sleeping on it regularly. If your dog has trouble warming to this bed just lay on it with your dog and soon your dog will love it....I had to do that a few times too.The other thing that was hard to determine was the size to get for my dog. Luckily I get the medium because my dog only weighs about 40lbs but he's a poodle mix and very lanky. I was even considering the next size up but I'm glad I didn't. Overall, the bed is maybe a tad on the small size for my dog but he fits perfect so not to small. It's just that when he really spreads out on it sometimes his head will be off on the floor. This might be on purpose because he likes the cool tile floor but either way the larger bed would not fit the space anyway so this is it.I have heard the plush cover was not very robust from others leaving feedback but this color I got was the perfect choice for temperature coolness, material durability, and comfort and size. It's literally like an infant bed of memory foam. My only main issue is with the price but after spending the money and seeing my dog sleep on it is worth it. Also, the thick denier type cover has non slip bottom so it's not flippable, but it's also very easy to wipe off and clean if you dog gets sick and the covering does not seem to absorb odors like the cheap plush type dog beds do.One last thing....go to the website of the bed maker and read reviews etc and also information on the coverings too.

Comfort for my aging chocolate Labrador.
I’m so over the moon with this orthopaedic dog bed that I nearly cried when I saw how happy and comfortable my choccy lab is after just one night. She’s nearly 11 years old and it’s breaking my heart to see her hobbling about with arthritis but from the moment I put down her bed and before I’d even had chance to make it up with her favourite blankets and toys she’d jumped on it and refused to get off! She’s quite a big girl at 34kg and I was worried it wouldn’t be big enough before it arrived but there’s more than enough room for not only her but my two Jack Russells who like to snuggle together. It’s neat and tidy looking as our house is small but it’s so thick and luxurious I’m tempted to lie down on it with them! Amazing quality. Well worth the money and peace of mind knowing my babies are comfortable.

Great quality and long lasting - highly recommended
I bought this bed 5 years ago and it is still going strong! After my puppy chewed several cheap beds and ripped them to pieces I decided to see if a more expensive bed would be better... Well my hunch was right - my pup never once chewed or ripped this bed, he has just slept like a baby in it. In fact most of the family have fallen asleep cuddling the dog in this bed, it is so comfy! I have washed the cover and inner liner countless times. Absolutely fantastic and worth every penny.

Perfect for our labs they love them.
We have 2 old labs who love there comfort and these beds are perfect. We purchased 2 large beds and they are plenty big enough. One of or labs love to destroy beds by constant scratching but these beds seem strong and sterdy and hes not managed it yet. As most dogs ours love to get dirty the dog bed is easy to wipe clean or for a good wash go perfectly in the washing machine. Very pleased with our purchase thank you.

Fab Bed, but...
I ordered two different dog beds (different styles and companies)..this bed arrived quickly and looked fab once unfolded and expanded. Unfortunately, my Leonberger, after sitting on it once, refused point blank to sit or lie on it again! I'm have no clue why because the bed is of excellent quality and very comfy ( I lay on it myself). I suspect it may be because of the height (not that high), my dog kind of had to clamber out and off of it. The good news now...I gave it to my Son for his Golden Retriever...well that dog just LOVES his new bed! Maybe my Leo was just too heavy for it? I ordered the largest size, again, perfect for a giant breed dog or two smaller dogs. I do recommend this product..just wasn't right for my boy.
