We bought these lights for our living room and they do not work properly. They do not sync to the app correctly. Some of them are different colors than what I set on the app and they are not even in sync with each other. I set them to yellow on the app and I have some yellow and others blue or pink. By the time these were installed, the return window had closed or else I would definitely have returned them- waste of money.

Lights are extremely bright, nicely dimmable, and the color temperature can be controlled from very warm to very cool. I've used their normal CCT LED strips before, and this works just the same but with the added RGB option. It's got a lot of great color, and I especially like the teal & purple!

These lights are very hard to cut and connect and will not work properly

whats good to note, is that you will need your own controller. Once you find one that will work, this functions well enough. Why not great? well that is limited by your controller. really wish that the seller would just include that with the item, really hate these add on style sets personally, but sometimes when you see a product you really want to try out, you just have to go through the headache to get everything set up.

Adhesive backing was easy to peel, and is quite strong. It was really simple to add under-cabinet lighting in my kitchen, and I love having the option of choosing color as well as just white light.

Don't buy if you don't have the specific power supply and controller that operates these lights. I had several LED Strip Light Power supplies and controllers so I figured one of them would work with these lights. Not the case. I could not get the lights to work. I cannot understand why the seller would sell lights without the needed power supply and controller. If you look at almost every other set of LED Strip Lights being sold, they include the required power supply and controller. Do Not Recommend.

Update to original review. The seller reached out to me and did send me a power supply and LED controller. The GB strip has two ends on it, one and has six bear wires and the other end has a six pin male connector on it. RGB light strip I’ve ever used Uses the pin connector to plug directly into a power supply and allows you to control the RGB with a handheld remote.The controller they sent me required the six bear wires to be screwed into a harness which is not that big of a deal, but there were no instructions and I had to go online to find a wiring diagram. I was able to get the lights wired up and they look nice and they are bright.However in order to control the lights I am required to download a third-party application onto my phone. I don’t know anything about this company, and I don’t really feel comfortable downloading an app on my phone manufactured by some random Chinese app developer. In my opinion, you’re just asking to share all of your information With them and I think that’s too big of a risk to take to do something as simple as controlling the color of the lights on an RGB light strip. I don’t want to use an app, I’d prefer to use a handheld remote and keep my information secure. In short This product does work, but there are other CODRGB light strips available that are no nonsense to hook up and don’t require you to use an app download it on your phone they don’t cost as much. For my purpose, I would not recommendJust received these today and was pretty shocked to find out that they don’t include a power supply or remote. I have purchased dozens, maybe hundreds of LED strip lights and even recently COB strip lights and never once have any of them ever come without at least a power supply and most of them with a remote.I can’t think of a reason why you would sell one without a power supply. After going back and looking at the listing and cycling through the photos it does say that you need to purchase a power supply so I own not knowing that before I ordered these, but again I’ve purchased so many of them that all came with a power supply I would’ve never considered that these might not have one. Also there is a warning that if you purchased the power supply the lights might not work so again, why wouldn’t you just include the power supply?This seems like an obvious miss. The lights are useless without a power supply. I’m giving a two star rating if I would have looked at the listing a little more thoroughly than I would have seen that you needed to purchase a power supply separately, but I’m only giving two stars Because I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assume that a power supply would’ve been included.
