Q: i wonder if they'll rerelease them in acceptable packaging someday, or just take the loss on these ?

I believe Hasbro is starting to go back to the plastic window packaging, Alot of "mint in box or display only" collectors stopped buying a lot of their figures because of the packaging alone. Marvel Legends are already doing this again after too many swap outs and return to the store aggravating collectors, myself included.
