Bilstein quality, great shipping, easy install I just wish there would have been clear instructions on how much lift is given on each snap ring groove. Put them on a 2019 LTZ Z71 and installed them with the snap ring in the top groove. Ended up having to then put a1-1/2” block in the rear to level it out. Rides great & looks good though

5100’s for 2024 gmc sierra 1500
Perfect replacement for my stock struts and shocks on my 2024 gmc sierra 1500 elevation 4wd. Just have to remove the spring on the front and put it on the new bilstein. Have a spring compressor ready, some extra time and mostly patience. I put the clip on the fronts to the 5th grove for a 2” leveling height. Rides stiffer than stock ans less bodyroll. Looks good too.

How a truck should ride
These shocks definitely made the truck ride more stout which is what I was looking for since I do pull a trailer pretty regularly.

Stiffer than expected
Works as it should. I was debating on these or the fox for my 2020 Silverado. They are a little stiff but after a few miles they were better. I go with the foxes if you want a softer ride tho

Bilstein shocks are worth the money and time spent
I added the Bilstein shock package to my 2020 Silverado 1500 3.0l diesel LT. WOW, get rid of those crummy OEM ranchos now and put these on for a truck that will ride way better. Night and day difference. No more bouncy truck and body rolling. Truck is now what I would call premium. My stock shocks did not work at all on the front, had to take them apart to find this out, one rear shock was leaking. Install took me 2 hours, front shocks are part of a strut assembly so you will need a spring compressor and patience taking off the three top nuts. Driver side install was harder than passenger side. Shocks came super fast via fed-ex.

Awesome buy!
Put these on my 2020 Silverado LTZ 6.2 today. Mine had the Z71 package with rancho shocks from the factory. These 5100's completely changed the ride and handling for the better. Truck feels like a different vehicle now: more planted, less body roll, and way less floaty/bouncy. Wish i had done this sooner--no regrets. Amazon had them for the best price I could find--boxes were not beat up when they arrived.

2019 Silverado
Huge difference compared to stock. Easy install - take off the old and put in the new, torque wrench down and good to go. Not only do they perform better than stock, they look great too.
