Great LiFePO4 Battery for Winnebago Vita/View-Updated
Update: Have now had this E-Lektech 300 Ah LiFePO4 battery in our Winnebago Vita for six months and it has performed flawlessly during that time. It is now about $100 less expensive than when I purchased it 6 months ago. Very happy with my purchase and a number of other Winnebago Vita owners have also happily upgraded to this battery. Still highly recommended.Original Post: I purchased and installed this E-Lektech 300 Ah LiFePO4 battery into our 2024 Winnebago Vita under-step battery box a month ago. It fit perfectly into the battery compartment without modification and will probably fit perfectly into motorhome built on the Dodge Sprinter chassis, such as the Winnebago View or Vita. The battery has performed flawlessly now for the past month and at a fraction of the weight of two lead-acid 100 Ah batteries, saves weight in our motorhome. In addition, since lithium batteries can be discharged to 10-15% state of charge (SOC) safely, vs. the recommended SOC discharge of 50% for lead-acid batteries, I have more than doubled my motorhome house battery storage capacity in making the upgrade to this nice small-volume lithium battery. Highly recommended and at about $600, quite a bargain!

Great battery for the price!
The media could not be loaded. As others have stated, the built-in voltage meter isn’t very accurate, especially once the battery gets down below 50% charge, but it does exactly what I need it to do. I used this in a homemade solar generator/bank and it works great while camping and power outages. We can make coffee and play Xbox in the camper while this sits outside getting charged with 5 200w solar panels. Great buy!

I got the 260Ah unit and its great for solar system
These are awesome and powerful and quite small, considering the power. I've been running 4 of them for solar system and they keep cycling well. Note that I have the system set to minimize cycles to push into them during the day and then pull at night.

Great battery so far — strong performance, responsive support, but note mounting limitations
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆I picked up the E-LekTech 12V 300Ah LiFePO₄ battery about a year ago and JUST now got around to installing it in my small travel trailer RV. Even after sitting untouched in my garage for nearly 12 months, it held its charge incredibly well — no drain, no surprises. That kind of standby performance gave me a lot of confidence right out of the gate. The size is spot-on for RV use — compact enough to fit comfortably in tight spaces, but with plenty of capacity for extended trips. The built-in 200A BMS is a nice bonus, and initial testing shows rock-solid voltage and output under moderate load.**One important thing to be aware of: the manufacturer recommends that this battery only be mounted upright, not on its side or upside down for long-term use. According to the documentation and seller, this is due to how the internal electrolyte distributes within the cells. Unlike some higher-end LiFePO₄ batteries that use prismatic cells designed for 360° orientation, this model may rely more on gravity to keep the electrolyte in proper contact with the electrodes. If mounted sideways, it could cause uneven chemical activity inside the cells, leading to reduced charging performance, premature aging, or shorter lifespan over time. As you can tell in my pictures, I planed to mount it on its side… so I need to reconfigure how I’m going to fit this and an inverter in my small space. If you have tight space constraints like many RV owners do, just make sure you can install it in the recommended upright position. If that’s doable, this battery offers excellent value for the capacity and performance. Also, HUGE shoutout to the seller, who has been incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions I had during the setup process. I wish all sellers were like this one!Overall, very happy with the battery so far. I’ll update this review after more road use, but early results look very promising.

Good battery, great price, fits Class-C steps battery box
Replaced two 100AH Lead-Acid batteries with one 300Ah LIIFEPO4 battery. It fits into the battery box under the entry steps found in mine and many Class C motor homes. it had more than 300 Ah of capacity (305) when I test discharged it, taking 71 hours of continuous load from all inside lights and two max fans running. The load of the two fans alone has run the L-A batteries to 50% (the max safe drain) overnight. I expect four to five times the usable power with this replacement. The battery seems well constructed and was well packaged for shipping. I got the battery on Amazon Day sale for $100 off, making it cheaper than buying two new L-A batteries, so if this last more than the two years they lasted I will have saved money. Win-win.

300Ah 12V
Battery arrived on time and well packaged. Great communication from both the manufacturer and the seller. They quickly helped me with an issue. Service after the sale is a big reason to buy a product. I will be using the battery during storm outages to power a full size refrigerator and a couple of lights as well as charge phones. It’s great to have it. I will add a photo once it is in service.
