I’ve been using it for my knee for 2-3 months now. And it has helped a lot in dealing with pain. Having said that I’m not sure how much it works in the long run or as a standalone treatment over time. But i suppose the real answer to knee pain etc is physio. This is a great way to supplement it

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’ve been using red light therapy for years. I have EDS, a connective tissue disorder, so I have frequent problems and joint degeneration. Red light therapy has helped tennis elbow, tendonitis, botched surgery healing, and to put off an inevitable knee replacement. RLT has been holding it off for 4 yrs now. If I stop using RLT, my knee will start hurting so much I have to put on a knee brace to be able to walk with more comfort. After a few days of using it, I can walk without the knee brace. I bought this unit recently because I got sick of holding the portable unit that I had and liked that this one is able to just Velcro on a body part. I frequently just put it on my knee, set the timer for 30 minutes when I go to sleep. It shuts off without fail. You can set it in increments of 5 minutes up to 30. It gets slightly warm which feels nice. I recently have started using it on my 16.5 year-old pitbull. She is getting very wobbly on her feet, as well as her back legs are starting to fail her and she falls occasionally. I’m hoping this will slow the progression of her legs failing her. She did seem to get up out of bed a bit easier this morning, but she may just be having a good day. I highly recommend red light therapy to everyone who is having pain.
