By Patti Smith: Just Kids

I HIGHLY suggest reading this book! I have now read it 4 times and do plan on reading it again. Patti Smith is an excellent writer. The packaging was great and arrived on time & I also ordered one for my friend it was the same deal! Thank you!

This woman's writing is excellent. She has such a way with words and her adventures are so interesting. I was in New York when she was, but not in Greenwich Village. How different were our experiences. We both went to the world's fair in 1964 though. Her second book, "Waiting for the M Train" is even better. Who cares that she can sing too!

This is a beautifully written book about working hard to make it. Also a wonderful picture of NYC in the '70's

"Just Kids" is very interesting and an essential for any music fan or fan of sixties-seventies NY culture.
