this was my first pair of barefoot shoes. I bought them two years ago... now i own 5 additional pairs of hobibear shoes and these are still my absolute favorite pair. The soles are the thinnest of all of them. They're the most flexible. The massage insoles aren't thick but effective. I wish I liked all of my hobibear shoes as much as I love these. They're not the prettiest hobibear shoe but these are the most comfortable pair of shoes I ever bought and I'm glad I tried them out. I'll be sad when they finally fall apart.

So I'm trying to correct my plantar fasciitis, years of squishing my toes into "sexy/lady" shoes, and overall foot structure, but didn't want to go straight to the expensive VivoBarefoot brand just yet, so I tried these. My regular size would be a 7.5 regular/fitted, but I got these in the 7.5-8 Wide size and not only were they super reasonable in price - they are perfect. My toes have plenty of room to "spleen" and they are zero rise flat footed. I just returned from an hour long walk with my dog (90 degrees & muggy out!) and there was no rubbing or uncomfortable pressure points AND... my feet are not sweaty - so they appear to breathe well too! I don't know about how long they'll hold up cause they're brand new, so perhaps a later update. I'm actually going to see about ordering another color.

Pros: Cute! Comfortable minimalist style, wide toe box, outside fabric seems to last. I like the leather accents but wish they’d put a strip of leather inside by the back ankle where that more delicate fabric tends to wear. I just bought a second pair. I walk miles in these often. Cons: they can look a bit wrinkly by the bottom of the laces, unless you add another insole, which for whatever reason makes the wrinkling almost unnoticeable. I like adding the second insole to add a little more structure and comfort while maintaining all the flexibility. It wasn’t a huge fan of the white laces on the red shoes, I replace those with black (grey might look good too).

I have a job where I stand or am walking my entire 8-12 hour shift. I have been searching for a pair of shoes for 3 months. I have tried 4 pairs of shoes in that time. One pair lasted 15 minutes, they were AGONY! Another pair, 2 shifts... I would barely be able to stand at the end of the day. I came across these shoes last month, I read some reviews and passed on them. I went back to these, figuring all my other options didn't work. Straight out of the box, my feet felt the difference. I was cautiously optimistic. Wore them for a 12 hour shift.... wOWww!!! Amazing!! I LOVE THESE SHOES!! have ordered 2 more pair in different colors. They are light, soft, are anti slip. I can not express HOW comfortable these shoes are. If you have flat (ish) feet, wide feet, have a LOT of walking and/or standing to do, these are the shoes for you!!! I read some reviews about them looking like "clown" shoes. My opinion on that is we are so used to tiny, narrow shoes that anything more than that makes a person think that way. If your feet are narrow, these may not be the shoes for you. I read another review saying the shoes smelled funny or terrible.. the only thing I smell is new shoe. Nothing abnormal or smelly. For me, I love these shoes.

My feet have been bothering me lately, especially my bunion and these are nice and wide toed without looking weird. They are so comfortable that I already ordered another pair and I just received these last night. I got the all black and then I got the pink and gray, I highly recommend for people that need a wide toe and have trouble with bunions Just absolutely

I hate having anything on my feet, including socks and shoes, that being said, this is my second pair of these shoes. I don't think I'll ever put on a different kind of shoe for walking. They have great traction even in water, and they look good with almost anything. They are very lightweight and flexible. I love these barefoot shoes; they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on.

Love the wide toe box on these shoes. The color goes with everything and they are very easy to put on. Only two complaints; the tongue frequently gets bunched up on one side and you have to straighten it out and the second is there is not much arch support. If that's an issue for you, inserts work well.

I have had my doubts in buying shoes from anywhere because my feet are diabetic and swell easily and are also very wide naturally with a high arch so shoes often hurt my feet. I looked at all different types of bare feet shoes for months and struggled in purchasing anything. I finally decided on the shoe. I got them today and they are very comfortable. I enjoy that my feet do not feel crunched into a shoe. The sole is nice. Not super chunky, but still, I can feel that there is some ground underneath me which helps because I get off-balance very easily due to a lot of health issues. So far after taking my shoes out for a spin, I still like them and would possibly buy another pair. The only thing that I wish they had was a little bit wider around the arch area. I wish the whole shoe was as wide, kind of boxy as the tow area straight back if they had not curved it in for an arch, but that’s not a major thing for me, but it would be nice because my foot is also wide all the way back. It’s kind of like a big square, very hard to find shoes, but this is an excellent choice. The price was reasonable. I have probably three other pairs of shoes that I thought would work and have paid considerably higher amounts and within a week my feet were in so much pain so I am hoping that these shoes Can help not being able to handle shoes on my feet. I do not go outside very much and have been almost what I would call trapped within my house. I am hoping they give me the freedom to want to get back out and walk and enjoy the world I think these shoes if I had to give them a grade one through 10 I would say they’re about a seven or a B.

Fit decent and are comfortable.

I love these shoes. I have a black and white pair. They feel excellent on the foot, a really well done zero drop shoe, with a durable bottom. Wide enough for my toes to move freely and look great with most outfits.

Love the tread on the sole, it's shallow enough it doest feel like I'm walking on rocks but the design is intricate enough to give me traction on all types of ground. Great cushion on the heal, this does push my foot forward slightly so I should have went up 2 EU sizes. I got a 39, I should of got something closer to a 41 EU size. I have a mountain toe shape (my longest toe is beside my big toe), and it's hitting the front when I walk. So again, size up. The width is great okay for me, I don't have a wide foot, just regular, but I prefer to have toe space for stability. My pinky toe still is against the shoe. Really like the color You have to wear socks, the sewing inside the shoe is irritating where there is major fabric overlap. Light and airy feel The sole also has a nice cushion, not minimal but enough for walking on the sidewalk or other hard surfaces.

I was looking at buying another pair of Lems; Xero; or Vivobarefoot shoes before I discovered Hobibear. These shoes are very well made and tick all the boxes for barefoot/minimalist shoes at a fraction of the price of the aforementioned brands. Some reviews said they had to size up due to shorter shoe length - I did not find that. I found the 8s to be true to size. I will definitely be purchasing more Hobibears! Update: I just went to buy another pair & the price went from $68 to $120!! I wonder if this had anything to do with my review putting Hobibear in the same category with Lems & Xero?? Regardless, that’s absolutely ridiculous that they would increase the price like this in 1 day. I don’t think I will be purchasing anymore Hobibears.

Primero pedí talla 26 porque vi otras opiniones que decían que venía chico Pero para mí fue lo opuesto yo en realidad soy del 25 y al haber pedido del 26 pues me quedaban gigantes y los devolví y me pedí entonces del 24 y me quedan perfectos de hecho me sobra el espacio correcto que siempre debe sobrar en la punta. Efectivamente se siente en las piedritas si estás caminando en terracería y no puedes caminar tan rápido como con zapatos normales porque es como estar casi descalzo. Me he sentido muy cómoda y muy bien y eso que yo usaba plantillas entonces con estos pues no estoy usando plantillas se supone que lo ideal es no usar plantillas al final... Tengo el pie valgo siempre me ha costado trabajo encontrar zapatos así también tengo el dedo chiquito del pie torcido por lo mismo que los zapatos comunes y corrientes me lo han aplastado desde que empecé a usar zapatos desde niña... Siento que estos zapatos están liberando mis dedos y que poco a poco están volviendo a su forma natural. Están súper bonitos los recomiendo bastante.
