I really like Neewer. I mean, I REALLY like Neewer. I have lots of their products, and they almost always are a great value for the money. But I wasn't expecting really great quality on these C-stands because of the really reasonable price.I WAS SHOCKED!The fit and finish of these stands is outstanding. Clamp knobs are comfortable to use, yet solid. The stands come apart beautifully, go together quickly, and they're SOLID and STABLE. They're as solid as any Matthews C-stand I've ever used...perhaps even more so. Yes, they're heavy. But that's EXACTLY what you want from a C-stand. You're counting on it to do heavyweight jobs, so it needs to be sturdy.I could go on and on about these, but if you're a one-man operation like me and you just need something to work, I can whole-heartedly recommend these Neewer C-stands. They're brilliant!

C- stands are important in all levels of film production. Simple light stands are always flimsy, and if you want to put on a big light with a big soft box, you’ll need a heavy duty c-stand to hold it secure. This set of black c-stands by Neewer is amazing! It’s full metal construction feels sturdy , and the spread of the legs feel secure. Unlike conventional chrome c-stands, these black sets are better for ,y environments because it blends easier with the surroundings. This set comes with two c-stands, two joints and two arms. Having the arms helps articulate your lights in what ever position you want. The twist knobs for the joints are big and easy to turn to open and lock. On the tip of the arm, you’ll see a 1/4 screw tip to attach lights or any accessories that uses a 1/4 thread hole. I’ve been using these c-stands 2 to 3 times a week for the last 4 months and they are tough. I’ve used them indoors and in outdoor elements, and they’ve even gotten wet but still show no signs of failure. I’m careful with my gear, so outside of normal banging around they don’t have a scratch. It’s metal so I’m able to even mount my magnetic tube lights in the frame which as really handy for some of my productions. The point is, you can’t go wrong with this set of c-stands by Neewer, plus it’s black! I’m hoping to add another set to my collection. You won’t be disappointed,

Neewer brand is catching up in quality. The c stands are solid for the money. Now I am not a professional photographer or anything but for simple videos that I make this is more than enough. But I’m pretty sure a professional photographer could use this without any issues especially if they are on a budget.

Light and got me through my first round of C-stands I needed for my production company.The biggest gripe is the grip heads, I have had them just over 2 years. Almost all the grip heads out of the 8 I had (2 sets) all stripped out or fell apart. I recently just added avenger grip heads and they work very well. Out of the 4 C-stands I bought one base and one pole DO NOT fit inside each other. Other than that been a very solid set, I take very good care of gear so I know that's why it has lasted this long. I would not recommend for daily use and actual set abuse. I am transitioning to Mathews C-Stands but this was a good step when I was starting my company.

I’ve been using these for 6 months now. I mostly photograph kids, and can’t risk my stands toppling over. I went through several C stands and these were the sturdiest I found. I have had no gear slippage, and they will handle my largest modifiers (extended within reason).At one point I loosened the gear on the base stand (without holding everything in place, you know, like an idiot would do) and the center extension came down and took a chunk out of my finger. The stands have springs in them to guard against this, but they can be overcome with properly applied carelessness. I couldn’t be happier - once I bleed I feel like I have a quality piece of equipment.

I also own a Impact Turtle Base C-Stand Kit, which is really heavy duty, and heavy.These are still sturdy while being quite a bit easier to move and transport. A nice feature is the telescoping tubes are spring loaded. No pinched fingers or accidental bottoming out of the tubes.These are used primarily for flat lay photography and multi camera chef live-streaming. I needed a couple extras for better camera angles and to hold the giant scrim.

Heavy, sturdy, and they appear to be well made. I won’t be throwing these in the back of a truck like I used to as a photo assistant, so i can’t speak to their ruggedness. They’re doing well holding seamless paper for a little jewelry lighting setup.

These C-stands are sturdy enough for my use case. No complaints!

Hatte bereits einen C-Stand von Neewer mit dem ich sehr zufrieden bin und wollte einen zweiten dazu haben.Habe erst bei einem anderen Händler hier auf Amazon bestellt, jedoch war die Qualität mangelhaft und da es auch Fertigungsunterschiede zu meinem ersten gab, war ich nicht sicher ob dieser entweder eine alte Serie war, oder gar eine Imitation des Neewer C-Stands. Ging wieder zurück und ich bestellte ein anderes Angebot bei einem anderen Händler hier auf Amazon. Obwohl als "Lagernd" ausgewiesen, wurde er nie versendet.Also bestellte ich hier diese Doppelpackung. Kamen viel schneller an als angekündigt und sind von der Qualität einwandfrei. Bin sehr zufrieden. Preis / Leistung ist sehr gut!Werde bei Bedarf wieder Produkte von Neewer ausprobieren, nur bei den Vertriebspartnern sollte Neewer etwas sorgsamer sein.

Son pesados asi que si piensas usarlos en exteriores vas a hacer brazo, son super solidos, robustos, soportan un flash de 600 wats con un octabox de 80 cm sin sentir que se va a ir de lado, super recomendable, seguramente duraran unos cuantos años

I've always used silver C-Stands, like Matthew's so was not sure on the Black design due to chipping of the paintwork. Perfect being black as stand out less on film set so no flare from the silver material the stands are made out of with these being black. Really pleased with these! Also they are not like regular c-stand's where the leg moves up and down to accommodate a step. I knew this when buying them, very sturdy feels the same as any other C-Stand I've ever used, solid and reliable. Very happy with these.
