** LATEST UPDATE ** I was promptly contacted by the seller and they sent a replacement. The lights are VERY bright and work perfectly. I even painted them. Although they have no dim function, since we noticed people entering our premises without asking us, I placed them in an area where now I'd like to have them as they are: only turned on with movement so that they SCARE people and make them leave our premises. THEY WORK! lol. :D ** UPDATE AS OF AUGUST 16, 2019** Unfortunately, one of the solar lights stopped working. I need to uninstall it in order to be able to confirm if it is the item or the batteries that came with it's fault. Please advise. Thanks. ** UPDATE ** I was so frustrated they had no dim mode that I wanted badly to return them but since I had to pay for the return (it was not offered by the seller nor Amazon) the return cost was higher than the solar lights cost. Since I live in a hurricane zone I thought about giving away them as a present to relatives whom I know for a fact don't mind about the dim mode as I do. To my surprise, I gave the solar lights a second chance and I was so amazed by the tremendous and powerful light (consider the fact I'm addicted to everything solar and have POWERFULL solar led lights at home) that I had to keep them! I tested them in front of my house wich has a huge garage door entrance and a porch and with just ONE light of these I could brighten ALL my garage entrance and part of the street. I was like... WHAT??!!! When it turned on. Even though I love the dim mode in this kind of lights I used other smaller ones in paths I'd have with some light 24/7 and this one for the very front and back of the house. I'm considering even to buy a few more sets of these combo for my relatives as well. TRUST ME I'm the Caribbean Solar Lights Obsessed Person of the century (lol) and THESE ARE EXAGGERATELY POWERFUL! I love to change all my LEDs to white color and will show you all how I painted and positioned the led lights. Please note I didn't use a drill this time and tried the 3M exterior heavy kind of tape and IT WORKED!!!! Try it! Blessings. :) I wanted them to have dim mode so bad. Unfortunately, they don't which - in my case - makes the item not fitted for my needs. Had to return them. :'(

This is my second time buying these - the first set has worked perfectly for several years. They still work, but have dimmed somewhat, so I purchased a new set to replace them. They work great, and are reasonably priced.

Nice little lights, very bright and easy to install. Make sure the solar portion gets full sun for a good portion of the day or it may be too dim for revealing walking area. No settings for sensitivity OR even how long the light is activated for. Maybe 30 seconds of on time per activation seems about right. possibly a bit more. I have an older set that is a few years old and they are still going strong. The light panel white plastic did get brittle after a couple years and I did put my finger through the white lens cover which cracked easily and unexpectedly. It still works and lights just fine. Just cracked the lens cover. Texas heat is BRUTAL on plastics so no foul against the manufacturer. Much better than those walk lights for illuminating purposes.

these lights are awesome very bright, we have them all around our deck they last forever we used our last ones over 5 years and they would have still worked had they not gotten broken from storm damage

I can't give these lights a low rating really for any of their function. But I feel like there are a couple of things that might help you to know. They certainly are bright. They are very easy to install. I used the Gorilla tape that several people mentioned, & it worked well. I used the included screws to install one of them on a tree, & it worked great! They sense motion better than any other outdoor sensor light that I've ever used. That being said...they sense the motion of any nearby plant or tree branch. They sense the headlights of a car driving by if the motion detector on the light is facing the direction of a nearby road. They sense raindrops. Is there such a thing as a motion detection light working maybe TOO well? These crazy things suck up all of the solar power they can all day long, & usually by 2a.m. they've exhausted themselves by clicking on every time a plant in my yard moves in the breeze. Last week we had a storm & it was hard to tell if it was lightening, or the sensor lights going off! I live next to a big high school, so am thinking they're going to have to go before football season. It's crazy that headlights leaving the school set them off. I only bought a set of 4, & it looks like the middle of the afternoon in my back yard when a car drives out of the school parking lot. We've been having issues with coyotes in our area, which was my reason for the purchase, as we have small fur babies. Haven't seen any coyotes, but they've probably all told each other to stay out of the yard until the solar power goes out on these things from clicking on & off until 2am. ;)

I'm installing these by entries to my house for a bit of added deterrent or security. The units are simple and seem weatherproof. Easy to set up and install and most of them work. The only problem is a design flaw that there is a tiny hole in the housing that you have to press a little wire like a paperclip through in order to activate the light so that it will charge and operate. The wire is supplied and the instructions are OK. But I've only been able to get 3 of the 4 in the set to work, so I guess I have only 75% of my order. It's impossible to tell as you're pushing in the pin whether you are activating the unit or not. I usually felt a little resistance like I was pushing in a dimple, but you have to do that, let it charge up for hours, then see if it works, and if not, repeat the whole process. It's all a mystery because there's no positive indicator that it's on -- like an on/off switch or a small indicator light. I really don't know if the last one is operable or not, but I've tried multiple times and no success.

They are great lights plus very bright also bought theses lights in 2020 and it’s 2026 so I have these light for 6 years and they are still working great!
