Easy to install especially if you watch the video first.

At first, I didn't follow the directions and just put the holder directly on the shower wall. Not long after I hung a shower caddy from it everything fell into the tub.The second time I **actually read the directions.** This time I used a bathroom cleaner on the shower wall to remove any soap scum, rinsed and let dry the holder and its parts. Once everything was buffed and dry I hung the holder and tightened it again slightly a short time later. Then I hung the shower caddy from it. Waited a little longer before loading it with bottles and things.Its been hanging wonderfully ever since! Thank you.I like a shower caddy on the back wall of my shower not hanging from the spray nozzle, it makes the space seem neater to me. This hanger did exactly what I wanted it to do.EDIT: I bought/hung these 9/25/19 and its now 10/22/19, no mishaps. (except the first one ;)update: 12/19/19 no issues.

Polished tile, one stuck for a few days, the other about 24 hours, even with nothing on them.

I have these in my guest bath and loved them so much I ordered them when I renovated my main bath. I was looking forward to having them but...I did not realize they won't adhere to the textured tile I chose. My fault, it states "smooth surfaces."I had to return them and now I have no hooks in the bath.In spite of my not being able to use them, I would recommend them as long as the tile you are using them on is smooth.

They've been installed without falling for almost 3 weeks now. They fell after a day for almost a week straight then I started getting online to see if others were having the same issue, which I saw a lot were. You have to keep tightening these a few times a day for the first few days and it also helps to damped the back suction cups before installation and after you clean both surfaces. I was about 1 try from returning these but so far they've stayed, so I'll monitor these over the next few weeks. I would give a 5* if these would have stayed from the very beginning.

After several months of use in my new shower, I can say that these hooks are truly amazing! I waited to see if they eventually lost their grip power, but they are holding well. It sure beats having to drill into the shower tile! I use them for a shower cap and a wash cloth. Very simple to install on a non-porous surface, like tile......I'll add to this review that I have also purchased a soap dish with this type of suction, and it is fabulous as well......with a heavy soap bar in it. I was a doubter, but this type of suction really holds well.

I have 2 bathrooms, both with a wall of mirrors. I don’t want to drill hardware and ruin the mirrors so I purchased the HOME SO Bathroom Hooks to hang my hand towels for easy access after washing your hands. I’ve tried other suction towel hangers but all have eventually lost suction and fallen. I’ve had these up for a month now with the hand towel and have stood up well. These holders are well designed and not visually obtrusive which works for me. I would highly recommend these if you have the same situation as I do. I can’t speak to using them on any other surface but for the price, I would try it, if I were you.......

Arrived as described, early. Followed the instructions for installation: cleaned the tile and the suction pad with 70% ethanol, and wiped dry (and waited a bit). Placed the base (after unscrewing the "hook") on a single continuous tile and pressed it on as hard as I could. Continued pressing (as instructed) while turning the "hook" which screws it on the base. Made it as tight as I could by hand (no tools used). While showering over the next few days, continued tightening. Still holds very well after two weeks. Good product; reasonable price. Highly recommended. Advice: follow the instructions exactly.
