I purchased a set of these just short of a year ago. I love them, but the velcro won't stay closed any more. Do you sell replacement straps?

Unfortunately, replacement straps are not available. The straps are the component of the Push MetaGrip that will first show signs of wear. There are several factors that impact the longevity and durability of the straps:1. Over-tightening the straps will cause the straps to stretch-out over time and weaken the hook and loop closure. 2. Frequent application and removal of the Push MetaGrip increases strap fatigue.3. Keeping the straps clean and free of debris prolongs the strap life. Note: The Push MetaGrip can be machine washed, gentle cycle, cold water with mild detergents. We suggest placing the Push MetaGrip in a small mesh bag prior to machine washing. NEVER place the Push MetaGrip into clothes dryer or dishwasher. 4. Heavy and/or repetitive resistive activities while wearing the Push MetaGrip increases stress on the straps.5. The straps are similar to fabric and with prolonged wear the straps will always be less durable than the molded component. 6. Exposure to harsh chemicals or heavy soil deteriorates the straps. We recommend using latex, rubber, or gardening gloves during heavy cleaning or gardening.

how do you determine the size?

Jeorchid is correct about determining size, however keep in mind that the measurement is a guideline. You need to take into account your particular thumb in proportion to the rest of your hand when deciding on size. Factors such as an enlarged thumb muscle or atrophy can effect the size. It is not necessary to have the assistance of a therapist but it is recommended. Not only can they help with sizing but also modifying for your particular hand should you need it.

Should i wear brace at night?

if I were you, I'd wear a more stabilizing and cheap and more comfortable thumb brace at night, like a gamer brace. Save this for when you are awake. by the way, you can clean velcro with a toolbrush.

Which size number is small?

Size 1 - there is a sizing chart that shows with the product. When i measured my hand, i was between a 1 and a 2. Because i have small fingers, decided to get the 1 to better accomodate space between the thumb and index finger, and that was def the better fit over others that i had gotten in the middle size previous.
