This is the best book about God's Word and the power of speaking it in faith. Faith and hope are partners.

I don't have much time to devote to this review so I'm just going to give you the basic, most important principal. This book is wonderful. I received it as a gift when I was a new Christian and I purchased it as a gift for another new Christian. It is 100% completely, biblically accurate. The tongue's purpose in our life is compared in the Bible to the rudder of a great ship. Even though it is one of the smallest members, it turns it wherever it will go. The Bible also says that life & death are in the power of the tongue. Everything God created He did by speaking and we are created in His likeness to do things the same way. Every miracle Jesus performed was done through speaking blessings over it...and on, and on, and on. This book not only lays out those principals but it does it in a way that is easy to understand and follow for the youngest of Christians or even for non-christians who are just curious. It also lays it out in a way that shows how to apply those principals to every day life and situations. It encourages and helps to build faith when circumstances and other people around you may be doing nothing but tearing it down. I absolutely encourage anyone to invest in this book and I believe every one would benefit in keeping one in their personal library because it is also a great refresher over time.Thanks & God bless!

This is a very good book to read for anyone. It teaches you to release your faith in the Word of God. The words we speak shape our lives rather we believe it or not. We so readily accept certain things and speak them into our lives, "I get allergies every fall, I'm afraid I'll fail if I do that, this/that happens to me every week, this is going to be a bad year, etc." We really believe we'll get the flu or allergies "every" November...this is calling something into being that is not. So........when the Word of God says to call those things that be not as tough they are, why don't we use that and speak it to our benefit as God intended. We readily call bad things into being, why not good things? Please read this book, "Your Spiritual Authority," or any of Charles Capps books and learn that your words do matter. Stop speaking ill fate into your life and speak "life, health, & prosperity into your life. Pay attention to the words you speak!

I have been a Christian all my life. I have never heard this type of worship in a sermon or class. It is amazing and I enthusiastically refer it to anyone who is looking for physical healing along with spiritual and soul healing. It will take you in a deeper walk with God and His son, Jesus. If you are looking for this, get the book. I was introduced to this author when a technician at the hospital I was at for tests for cancer gave me this man's pamphlet called God's Healing Power. My cancer is gone and I am celebrating healing in many other parts of my body. With this devotion to physical healing, God has opened so many other areas in my life that needed attention. I feel blessed by this "new" information. You will be blessed too.

Every believer should read this book! It will change your mindset, thoughts and your confessions!!!! Inspiring, thought provoking and extremely motivational to all!

As Christians we are often faced with situations where we know we need to speak the Word of God out loud over the situation - but what words!In this book many practical examples are given, word for word! Already I have taken a number of 'confessions' from this book and put them on my mobile phone. Then no matter where I am I can pronounce God's Word over my situation.Another very helpful part of this book is to teach us to guard the things we say which are not in our interests. Such as, "My feet are killing me!" etc.This book has helped me tremendously, I highly recommend it.Pat Sheals

The book confirmed a lot of what I have read in other books and although it was very resourceful, I found it a bit repetitive in places. I would still recommend it, because I appreciate that Charles Capps really wants the reader to understand just how important our words are, whether negative or positive. Enjoy!

Charles Capps book on faith and confession is just great. It is right in line with the word of God. He is very good in explaining the word of faith. It has blessed me and given me a new insight into faith. I would recommend this book if you want to go to another level in your Christian walk. It has answered a lot of questions for me. Confession of God's word and what we say is so very important, because the bible says we will have whatever we say, so we have to say the word.
