Q: Does the zerk connector have threads? Mine seems to be not machined. I cannot screw anything on it as it’s smooth.

Mine has threads on all the fittings, and though they are all threaded the threads are not very good however they do work. If you have a tap and dye you can clean the threads so they are not so rough. Other than that this grease gun does great for small grease jobs, but I wouldn't try to grease any heavy machinery with it but fine for just regular automotive and household applications riding mowers subcompact tractors in such. I hope this helps. I guess the short answer is yes mine is threaded.

Yes, I bought many other brands of grease guns such as Bravex, lock n lube, etc., and found that even with a wrench, the thread cannot be completely screwed to the end. Only in this way can it prove that each joint is completely closed. If it is easy to screw to the bottom, it means that the gap inside is not fully connected.

Q: Does it come with a tube of grease?
