I am very happy with this microscope and the stand. The picture quality is very good, there is really no discernible lag time when working under it. I find the digital screen much easier to work with than an ocular microscope. If you are comfortable working on a computer screen you won't have the same learning curve with this that you would with an ocular microscope. After playing with it for a little bit I have to say it is pretty intuitive to focus and adjust. With the included stand I love the space under the microscope so you can really get your hands under it to work on whatever tiny project you need it for. I love being able to adjust the height to accommodate whatever I am working on. The ring light is a must and I am thrilled that came with the microscope as well. Also it is very simple to put together so don't let that scare you off.One note. If you are doing anything physical under the microscope that causes your table to shake you might want to attach the microscope stand to another surface. I am looking into doing that. It is not a fault with the microscope or the stand, those function beautifully, but if you shake the table you will shake the microscope and display.

Not happy with this item at all. I gave it to my husband for Father's day and right out of the box the screen doesn't work. Amazon is unable to assist me because it is outside of the return window. There is no response from the seller and I paid $269 for a piece of junk. If you are looking for an item like this, I suggest looking at another seller if you want any support after your purchase. Very disappointed.

Very good camera, it produces clear image. The 10" display is way better that typical 6-8" screens, and it conveniently integrates brightness control for the built-in camera light.Here are some thoughts after a few days of use:- Lighting built into camera suffices for most applications and its brightness is conveniently adjustable via touch controls or remote.- Ring light is helpful for some applications, it is very bright with knob-controled brightness. It attaches with 3 screws to the camera body (the screws have plastic ends to prevent camera body damage). That is a bit inconvenient, but does not affect usability. The manufacturer updates this attachment in future models.- Digital zoom has impressive range, and when you use it, it conveniently displays picture-in-picture indicator in the upper-right corner showing zoomed area relative to entire camera view. Some video artifacts are visible on full zoom, which is is expected, but it is not a problem as you will never need such extreme settings.- The arm is good for large objects that do not fit under stand. The main pole's bracket has two thickness settings -- you can attach it securely to large and thin surfaces. Horizontal arm does not have "play", it is steady, but keep in mind that it will amplify table vibrations, especially fully extended. High-zoom will need focus adjustments after you move the arm, lower zoom settings retain focus. It is easier to adjust focus in such situations with up/down movement than with the camera's focus ring.I did a long research before buying this product. With the currently available discount, this product offers the best price/value combination.

The flex arm is a must have for any large objects, it’s very sturdy and easily adjustable, I use it for larger circuit boards which I couldn’t fit under other microscopes that don’t have the adjustable flex arm also the adjustable height to fit bigger objects under the microscope is a breeze, this is a great product!! I had an issue with a missing mounting part and contacted the company, they shipped it out immediately, the company does stand behind their product 100% and any business can make mistakes, I’m just happy this company made the customer a top priority!!I definitely will do business with them again in the future if need be.

The media could not be loaded. This is my broken watch I was working on. The screen is nice and big so it is easier to see the electronics. It has manual focus and then it can electronically zoom in a bit more. I like the cable management system so the cables don't get in the way of the workspace.The light provided is bright and did a great job lighting up everything.The remote is easy to use, you can make videos, take pictures. (See video attached) It also comes with a 64GB SD card, so you can record right away!

Screen just died and never came back one day. Red light blinking in the bottom corner and none of the remote's buttons cause any response. Plugging in power or unplugging power does nothing. Worked great when it worked, though.

Perfect microscope for working on electronics. It can work on battery, the picture quality is extremely clear, boom arm is solid, it even came with a 64GB SD card for taking pictures and videos, also includes a ring light that looks cheap but work great. Only down side is that the included cables are too short, I had to get longer cables and also solder a longer power cable to the ring light as well.
