Bestop 5240711 Sunscreen - '18-Current Wrangler JL; '20-24 Gladiator (for Sunrider for Hardtop)

This mounted directly to existing bolt holes in the Jeep. It's really sturdy as it has a bracket that matches that of the Sunrider. It takes 2 seconds to pull it out and hook it to the existing Freedom top brackets above the visors.

easiest install ever literally took me 10 minutes no issues at all with washers they are only including lock washers and the nut super super easy and works wonderfully so glad I got this A+++

Biggest complaint is that even after being around more than a year, the bolts are too short to secure the brackets to the screen using the supplied washer AND lock washer. -1 star for this. The workaround is simple... Just use the lock washer and install according to the rest of the instructions. The overall quality is good and once you have all of the pieces adjusted it centers nicely and easily locks into place. The only caveat here is that you may need to work each hook individually and carefully. Once hooked, it is nice and tight. I replaced a bungee sunscreen with this and I am happier with this than I was with the former. This is because I left the bungee suncreen in full time and always felt like it was in my headspace. With the Bestop suncscreen, it retracts out of the way and there is more of a perception of room. I didn't find any significant increase or decrease between the two, so the main advantage for me was just the headspace. I am happy with it, but I would suggest to Bestop to get that bolt issue corrected or drop the regular washer from the kit. Bestop has too good of a brand to be sullied with bad quality control on bolt length...

I love how easy it is to be able to place this sunshade and when I want it I can hook it up right at a light and not even get out of my Jeep.

Bolts are to short. Your only option is to exclude the washers, and use only the locking ones when installing. Other than that it works better than the bungee option shade.

Awesome project. So awesome in fact I bought two. One for my JL with the Sunrider for hard top and one for my Gladiator with a factory soft top. For my Gladiator I drilled one 5/8” hole in each bracket to accommodate the factory hard top bolt.

I am so glad I bought this---it helps fight the sun, but still lets you get the fresh air. Very easy to put together as well.

Pricy for what it is but what can I say. It does what it says and is easy to hook up. I live in the southwest so it is definitely a benefit for me.

El paquete llego muy bien empacado. Cosa que me preocupaba por la reseña anterior. Quedo espectacular en mi wrangler 2025 con el bestop.

Was happy to receive my new sunscreen to go with my Bestop Sunrider. Very disappointed in the manner it arrived. Box was fully open and left on my doorstep. Unfortunately it was also bent. Was able to still install and I’m hoping this unfortunate issue won’t make it hard to roll back the sunscreen. Otherwise it exactly what I was looking for. Please see pics :)
