Worth the extra expense!! DO IT. :)
I went alllll in and was hoping I wasn't making a mistake! This product was completely worth the extra money. I LOVE this thing. It's easy to use, to clean, and it does a great job of adding fizz. I've been using it nearly daily for a month. You receive a bottle that you attach to the infuser cap, then slide the capped bottle into the OmniFizz and infuse carbonation. :) I keep two empty half gallon juice bottles in the fridge (filled with water) so that I always have cold water ready. Sometimes I want to make enough to fill the pretty plain glass bottles I bought on Amazon that have steel screw-on lids with gaskets that keep it fizzy. [Epica 18-Oz. Glass Water Bottles with Lids, Juice Bottles - BPA Free & Eco-Friendly Reusable Refillable Bottles for Juicing, Set of 6 - Clear] If I make extra, I'll fill the glass bottles with the fizzied liquid and store them in the fridge; the fizz stays good for at least two days (haven't tried longer). I use sugar-free syrups and that Pink Lotus half-gallon of sugar-free + caffeine. See pics. I buy them at a Cash and Carry; they have a huge selection. The syrups are $5-6 dollars each, the Lotus is like, $30?? I remember gulping about the price, but thankfully, it turns out I prefer a fraction as much as the bottle recommends. I was inspired to do this whole thing because my favorite coffee shop came up with a new fizzy summer drink and it includes syrups and lotus. I fill cold water to the lines on the included bottle and then use the same marks to measure the added flavored syrup and lotus. It was fun to realize I preferred much less syrup and carbonation. After I add the fizz, I shake the bottle as the instructions indicate (it does make a difference), bleed the air pressure with the levers on the infuser cap, and then put the regular gasket cap (provided for the infused bottle) and take it to the table with me while I work and enjoy my sugar-free soda. Before I enjoy, though, I give the "fizz infuser cap" (used to infuse the bottle with carbonation), a really good rinse in the sink, shake it out, then store it where the machine holds it for carbonation process. What a treat this is! And I still have so much of the syrups left! And I can always infuse water and add fruit to the glass bottles. Pretty. Also, I read a couple reviews that said there was some kind of scammy thing about returning CO2 bottles to get refills for carbonation. Huh. The CO2 bottles came in a box that you use to return them. They even provide a label to put on the box to return them. Contact info. Everything. You don't have to pay for shipping. It doesn't seem like they could make it any easier. I'm sounding like a commercial, but reviews sway me and I want to assure those of you thinking of taking the plunge and treating yourselves, that this will be lovely. Enjoy!

Pros and Cons....What to know
Cutting to the chase, overall, this is very good. The vendors phone support is fair, don’t pick up the phone often, but they do respond to emails well. In terms of the product, the unit is small so if you don’t have large counter space this is good or even if want to put away won’t take up tons of room. The CO2 Containers are screw in and can get from any vendor. In terms of CO2 (fizz) it gives off you can control the amount with the number of pushes till you either hear the Woosh sound or stop early. After you want to shake it for maybe 10-15 seconds and release the gas... Always wash the dispenser after inside little water. If you want more fizz, you can do again but 1st one is about the same as the store containers. I will say I did have a defective item the first time and was getting half the fizz I was supposed to, but this one is very good. So what are the pros: - Unit is small and takes up little counter space - Gives good fizz 3-4 pushes - Can carbonate anything (just no chunks like pulp) Cons: - CO2 are $$ so buy in bulk to save $$ - Not as much control as say the SodaStream amount of CO2

Purchase a less expensive product
Product does not function as advertised as it does not carbonate everything. Liquid to be carbonated must be very cold and very low in sugar. There are cheaper products that accomplish the same thing. Easy to clean if you only carbonate cold water. Easy to install. Everything is plastic and breaks easy if you're not careful. The warranty for replacement is at your own cost for any shipping and receiving.

$1500.OO a year savings
I asked AI (Copilot) to calculate the savings this item would produce, and it promised $1500.OO a year savings. Well, I have been using it for 4 days, and I absolutely believe it. This thing is amazing. 'My husband and I drink 1 Monster drink a day, and he drinks a few diet drinks a day. I can see for sure that this little gem is going to save me money, and I won't be storing all of those canned drinks. Thank you, Drinkmate.

Seltzer remains fizzy for longer
We have used another brand of seltzer maker for years (you know which one, the original mass-produced consumer-marketed brand). The larger CO² cylinders that were available for that device are no longer manufactured, so we decided to try a different brand of seltzer maker altogether. This drinkmate model offers a couple of advantages. First, the seal on the bottles is excellent; under refrigeration the bottles will hold their carbonation for several days, even when the bottles are only partially full. I get the impression that there's less waste of CO² than with our previous model, where it seemed as if a lot of the gas was escaping before making it into the bottle. The method of injecting the gas is a little bit more complicated with this device, you have to pull the carbonator to an angle first rather than just screwing the bottle on to the device; I'm a bit concerned that this extra mechanical linkage will eventually wear out, but we'll see. The printed instructions aren't that clear, but you have to remember to release the gas pressure using the little green tab in the carbonator attachment before you remove the bottle. After using it a couple of times, you get a handle on the best motions to use. The company has a convenient cylinder exchange program, but if you should happen to neglect keeping yourself supplied with a spare CO² cylinder, you can use a cylinder marketed by other brands (except those marketed as quick release).

Happy with this Purchase
Easy to use and set up. It works marvelously. 3 quick bursts from the canister makes my distilled water taste like like a health drink. I am going to enjoy this for a long time. Can not wait to go to the store and get some organic apple juice to soda-ize it.

Should have done this long ago!
I love sparkling water and have been buying the Aldi brand for years. I began to wonder where the water was sourced from in my purchased sparkling water. I have great well water and thought it was most likely a healthier choice for me to make it. LOVE this! Constant supply of great sparkling water and I can flavor it in a multitude of ways. Too soon to know how well the canisters do, but so far, so good.
