This is the best braid cutter I have used, it works really well. I think this is due to the serrations being really fine. Gives a nice clean cut, no fuzz.

Like another reviewer, I use these to cut Fireline for beading purposes. Having blunted my favourite scissors doing this, I did some research on the web and found some great reviews about this product. The only outlet I could find in the UK selling them on the web were always out of stock so I finally bought the imported snips from Amazon. I have to say I'm glad I did. They cut cleanly every time. I have tried them on a good variety of types of thread and get good results on them all. The Snips are light, easy to press to cut and when locked the blades safely close automatically. They come in grey or black only (obviously for fishing people, these are fine) but as the beading community gets to know about them, I hope they produce them in more attractive colours! My only real grumble, however, is that it is difficult to find UK stores, selling Boomerang products which is certainly a missed opportunity by all our beading stores!)

Excellent just the right size and can attach to jacket

Clipping to belt makes these cutters always at hand. Will cut braid and the design ensures that you will not stab or cut yourself.

I wanted something to cut fireline and mono filament used in seed beadwork and it does just that very well. I have purchased various scissors proporting to do this, to no avail. These snips do what it says on the box " cuts clean & smooth every time". Thanks Boomerang Tool Company.

Totally useless from day on! I’ve used it twice then gave up, I liked the idea of neat retractable scissors and that’s all they turned out to be ! Won’t cut braid unless your pulling it tight and even then you have to pull it against the blade. I would not recommend, they’re just another fishing gimmick ! Save your money and buy a pair of mini coral scissors for less than a fiver, bargain, they actually cut limp braid every time. Avoid these for braid because they just don’t work !

Just buy it, you won’t be disappointed this thing cuts line like butter. Easy to use and functional, quality is good and not bad for the money , size is perfect I promise, you can’t go wrong with this, probably the best thing out there for cutting line, works good on braid too.
