So far this is a good light. I have tried a few different bulbs in this spot. It's a living area and the lamp is an exposed "shade" so far this bulb the best option. It's not kicking light out into the room. The color is good for living environment. Doesn't get to hot. Doesn't look terrible. Plants seem to like it consistent growth since it arrived. ( I should add that it's a supplement light ). And for those of you researching right now. This light WILL NOT support life on its own. Hope this review helps someone.

I have these lights in two different locations. Both seem to be keeping my plants happy. They produce a lot of light and go great with my black light cords. Both are kept on timers also purchased on Amazon.

Light burned out, both ones I had. Supposed to last >25000hrs. It lasted ~2000hrs before they died. Won’t buy againContacted them & they don’t care.

This is quite the interesting bulb! I am not sure why I hadn't considered using something like this before, but I'm really glad I did, since now I can have happy plants in a few places across my house that otherwise are too low in natural light. The color of the light is very interesting - it has a generally white/yellow output, but you can see hints of blue and pink/purple - I tried looking into the bulb when it was on and could tell that there's at least one each of tiny blue and red bulb subsections on the inside that contribute to the overall light output. These parts are not visible from the outside of the bulb when it's off. When it's turned on, the light is definitely a normal white/yellow in feel, nothing like the bright purple I get from the lights I have set up on my special growing table. Apart from all that - I appreciate that the bulb fits a normal socket, and I was able to use an existing gooseneck lamp so that it fits right into my decor. The light is bright, but not overpowering - just right for providing extra food to my plant without being out of place in my home. I'm happy!

They seem like they are going to work good but one of the lights I received was broken when I opened the box the lens clips in and one of the clips was broken off

Nice for adding more growing space for plants. I like that it is a basic E26 base and can fit into most lamps. Keep in mind this does get pretty hot. Might want to keep it away from kids and pets. Not the most attractive light, but it gets the job done. Seems sturdy and high quality so I hope it will last a long time.

They work fine, but I ordered black for a reason and these are grey.
