Yes, it's a little flimsy. But other than that it's great. I've set it with the 8 hour timer. Goes on in the morning, goes off at 5. Next day same schedule. My plants are already happier. I looked at a lot of plant lights and even just floor lamps. They all were a lot more expensive than this. The pole telescopes out. You can put it in a pot by using the spike on the pole, or put it on the floor using the tripod. I like how skinny it is. I have it in the middle of multiple floor plants and it's helping all of them. I just needed something to help my indoor plants. This works great.

Update: the seller reached out and offered me a full refund, didn’t ask questions or ask anything in return. Also, I compared this to another light and found it much brighter. So customer service and brightness are bumping my rating from 2 up to 4!Original review: So many problems with this light. 1. The timer doesn’t work. So. 2. The tripod/stand at the bottom is so tiny and not well made, when I fully extend it it doesn’t stand straight. Plus the legs are so tiny they barely provide any actual support. 3. The light is super too heavy, that plus the pathetic tripod stand means it falls over all the time. I basically have to prop it up to make it stay. 4. The lights at the top are super tiny and don’t put out a lot of light. They are fine but i was thinking I could direct the light more with the shape of the lights but they aren’t really spotlights, just small lightbulbs essentially.So I’m using it because I passed my return window, but it’s not worth it.

It worked well for awhile, and was great for my apartment which can be dark. However, after 6 months it has stopped working properly. At this point, only one of the 3 lights turns on sometimes, the timer doesn't work, and I often have to unplug it, and plug it back in several times to get it to turn on. It worked well while it worked, but I'm disappointed it's broken after less than a year. Especially because I don't feel I over used it. It was not on 24/7 or anything like that. If you want a quick fix, it's fine. But I was disappointed in the durability of it. 6 months total seems much to short of a lifespan.

So many things about this grow light are just not good. It has a hard time standing up straight and I always need to mess around with it to get it to point where i need it to. Then now, randomly one day, the timer on it just stopped working, while the light was on? I noticed late one evening that it was still on when it should’ve turned off by then, the power button doesn’t work to turn it off now, so I had to unplug it. If I hold the power button for a few seconds after plugging it back in, it will turn on, but the timer still won’t work and it’s too annoying to have to move the couch to unplug it every time, so it’s basically worthless now. Only had it a few months, while all the other grow lights I’ve had for 2-3 years are still working great even with daily use.

These lights provide the much needed illumination for the plants in my windowless office. Until they arrived my plants were struggling, but with these durable and versatile lights they are now thriving. The timing mechanism is perfect for when I am out of the office and I've decided on the stake option as opposed to the tipod because allows for lessencroachment into my small office space. Coworkers love it and have ordered some for themselves. Highly recommend for small space lighting

I live in Wisconsin so it’s always so hard to throw away plants/flowers as we approach winter. I brought my hibiscus tree and 2 mandevilla flowers into the basement before winter hoping I would be able to save them and be able to move them back out in the spring. This light has been a life saver. Literally! It’s been 2 months with them in the house and they are still going strong. I might actually buy another one just because my plants are so big and it’s hard to cover all 3 with the one light. I love that they are on a timer so they get 4 hours of UV light at the same time every day and I don’t have to try and remember to turn it on. You can also adjust it for 8 hours if you need to. Very sturdy, the light can be adjusted/aimed in certain directions and you can also decide if you only want 1 light on versus all 3. Great investment. Highly recommend if you want to try and save your expensive flowers or plants.

I've had mine set up and working for a day. The product is very compact, and good in small spaces. The lighting is bright, full spectrum, and the heads are very adjustable. Be careful of the edge baffling on the lighting heads, the metal can be sharp. Mine came with a different remote than what is shown on this page, and the instruction booklet is very bare bones. I set my timer for 8 hours yesterday and it did shut off after the 8 hours were up, however when I woke up this morning the lights were not on. I manually turned them on.One other issue I have is the wiring connection is very loosey goosey, so I can't hold the remote in my hand, I have to let it hang and press the buttons in order for it to work. Buyer beware, quality seems to fluctuate greatly based on other recent reviews of this product.

It's cute, it works, and its versatile. I like that it is petite, can be lowered or raised in height, has an easy timer setting, and the cord is extra long if needed. And a great price. I've had it for 3 weeks now, and I can confirm my plants have grown. The only negatives i will say is one of the bulb arms does not hold position if I want to bend/point it upward. Its all slightly flimsy. (I purchased this style so I could direct the light to several positioned spots at once. ) Also, I paid for same-day shipping, and it did arrive damaged out of the box, as you can see. I didn't have time to return/replace, so I kept it, but wasn't happy with this. Overall though, it does work and the price is great!
