Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is a really net solution to a sometimes somewhat untidy problem. My previous car had two accessory sockets and a much larger dash console for them to be in. I miss that a bit especially now that I have a dash cam to plug in. My first solution was to but one of those two way adaptors that plug directly in to to accessory socket this worked really well but it did leave quite quite a clump of connectors and wires right next to the Auto gear selector which was far from ideal. This clever little gadget gets over that by removing the connectors to one of the cup holder in your central console. In my case these are further back which is perfect as its out of my sight line when my passenger/co pilot is plugging stuff in. Better yet the plug which goes in to you original accessory socket has three USB fast charge outlets which for me means that my smart phones used for navigation will charge up during a journey rather than slowly discharge as happens with lower current chargers.I just need to find my stick on cable clips to finish off the installation neatly and I shall be a very happy camper.

This is an interesting gadget which not only allows charging of USB devices such as you smartphone via an adpator cable which came with your phone, tablet, or Satnav device.This device also increases the number of DC powered connections from your car lighter to enable 3. This is practical for those who require to power several devices via their car lighter but do not have enough outlets. You could for instance be inflating your tyres while also vacuuming the car carpets at the same time.The additional car lighter sockets each have a power button which light up green when pressed ON - the USB connections are also illuminated bright blue (see photos) so easy to see at night or which ones are active.It is hand-size so can be stored in the boot not taking up much space. All in all, a smart-looking piece of car tech ideal for those who need to run many devices at the same time.

I bought this originally because I wanted a power outlet that I can switch on and off manually.I had purchased a pair of dash cams and simply plugged them into the USB power supply which I had plugged into one of the vehicles' power outlets.The problem was that when the ignition key was switched to "engine start", the auxiliary power is momentarily disconnected. This would confuse my dash cams and although they became live, they ceased recording.......I didn't want to manually plug them in and out of the power socket each time I drove the car. (Too much use will eventually wear the socket contacts).This device works great. I can leave the dash cams plugged into one of the power outlets, and manually switch them on once the engine is running.I also use the unit to run my sat nav if the battery needs a charge.The 3 USB outlets on the units plug are great for charging phones, or anything else that can be charged via USB.Using power plugs with 2 USB outlets on them it is possible to run 6 devices from the 3 power outlets, plus there's another 3 USB outlets on the unit's plug.I cannot see anyone needing more than this......... I use just two of the outlets when I'm running the dash cams AND the sat nav simultaneously.The battery voltage reading is a nice touch, and the unit gives a very pleasant glow at night.Overall I am very impressed.

This had solved all my charging problems in an instant because there are my son, wife and I who can charge their phones now in the car and can run both the children’s DVD players all from this wonderful little gadget that fits perfectly in one of my cup holder compartments in the front of my car.It’s such a simple but very effective device and don’t know how we have managed until now without it!!It’s a must have in our car now so no more swapping cables over to take it in turns who gets the right to charge their phone first because we can all do it at the same time!!A fantastic thing!!!?

Bought this to solve my 12v demand issues in my car, it's very very cool. The USB ports in the back of the male iron is lit up so you know when it's drawing power. The on/off buttons per output female ports makes it great if you don't need everything running at once, you also get the added value of the voltage display per port. Excellent value for money and great that it sits in a cup holder for convenience.

I’ve only got one ciggerette lighter port in my car and was forever switching my footwell lights over with my Fm transmitter and phone charger, now I can use all three together. It’s small enough to fit away into your cup holder so it doesn’t take up any space the wires store away nicely behind it, it’s even got light up features on it when plugged in.
