Comfort Kids 140 x 70 cm Luxury Pocket Sprung Cot Mattress (And Also Fits Mamas & Papas Cotbed Size 400 139 x 69cm)

Product arrived quickly - order placed on Sunday afternoon and arrived next Tuesday. I wasn't at home but delivery guy left it in my garden so saves me going to collect from depot! Mattress is in double plastic bag for protection. Good value at £44+6.99 compared to other big names which costs 2-3 times more. Fits my Mamas & Papas cot bed fine. Mattress is firm and appears to provide lots of support. Still waiting for baby to arrive so cannot comment on how well baby sleeps. I expect a pocket sprung mattress to last longer than a foam mattress so hopefully this can last until my baby is 4-5 years old.Update 18/3/16 - my baby is nearly 2.5 yrs old and she is still sleeping on this mattress. She sleeps pretty well on this mattress and on most nights she sleeps through the night :) On some mornings when she woke up in her bed, she 'runs' around in her cot bed and enjoys herself. The mattress is thick enough (10cm) to withstand her abuse!! no damage done. I intend to keep her in this bed until she's 4 or 5 yrs, and i don't think this mattress will have a problem achieving this. I bought 2 waterproof breathable mattress covers (approx £6 each) to protect against accidents which we've had quite a few when daddy didn't put on the nappy properly! She will start potty training this coming spring so we shall see if the mattress can stay unharmed. I went on to have a 2nd baby and would've liked to buy this mattress again; but due to the different cot bed size I couldn't.

I recieved this yesterday.Looks good and feels firm too. Not sure that i can feel springs....but i guess if its a good mattress you wont? It does feel like its made entirely out of foam. The packaging says to air it out for 48 hours. I opened it up and left it in our spare bedroom with the windows open hoping that would do the trick. I assembled cotbed today and put the mattress in, did the bedding etc and went out for a bit. Came back and was going to put baby in but it just smelt really strong, chemically. I have to admit i didnt air it out for the full 48 hours just 24 hours but was a bit shocked that the smell came through a fitted sheet and quilt. Im feeling uneasy of putting my baby asleep on it tonight so have taken it straight out and will leave to air out for longer. Not too pleased about that but just hope the smell disappears quickly.Baby will be in the crib for longer!

Matteress fits the Mama's and Papa's cot as described, yes it did have that "fumy" smell, but followed the instructions on the label about letting it air, and all is well now, it does take some time, and the original smell did make me feel a bit uneasy, but smell is gone and the matteress seems firm and secure.The top tip I will give is that it does need a good airing so make sure you have plenty of time to do so.

If this is an example of a pocket sprung mattress, I'll never buy one again. The quality is shockingly bad. I don't normally do product review, but this is so bad I had to post a review to warn any potential buyers how terrible this product it is.After less than a month the middle of mattress has lost all support strength. Its so bad that my child is unable to sleep on it. When you put any pressure on, it collapses to nothing.Would like to return but amazon only refund £4.75, due to large size of item it will cost nearly £30 to send it back via parcelforce. No other courier will take it as its too long. So stuck with a useless item that is un-economical to review.A pocket sprung mattress at a price to good to be true... should have listened to gut instinct and bought this from a shop,Complete rip-off

Great little mattress. My son sleeps well on it. It has a mamas and papas label on it and appears to be good quality.

Fantastic cot bed mattress! When mine arrived it had the Mamas & Papas labels on and the quality is excellent! I even compared it to the mattress in the M&P shop and it stacks up!My only complaint is that it was delivered by Yodel who just left it propped up outside my door in the rain! It's a good job it was so well packed !

My twins have only been sleeping on it a week but appear comfortable. Seems like a really good matress

Nice and firm, LO sleeps well on it and fits well in my M&P cotbed. However it's smells quite strong, almost fumey?!!? I have to double the mattress protector and the sheets! Fab price tho!
