Wise choice for a beginner-intermediate level
This is a great YoYo. It comes with two bearings which is important to know because one is more challenging than the other. This took my family a bit of time to learn how to use it, maybe an hour of trying before we figured it out. Once we started to to manage the basics of it we had a ton of fun practicing and learning tricks. It felt great once we were able to use it correctly and gave us all serious satisfaction and sence of accomplishment.it comes with backup string. I don't know if it is the string or our technique but it seems like the string kept getting twisted up after uses. The glove that comes with it was nice but we never really used it. This yoyo is good quality for a beginner. I think the price was reasonable. It's tricky to learn how to use it at first but don't give up. Make sure you have the correct bearing in it if it isn't responsive at all and won't come back up after trying a lot. There are plenty of yourube videos teaching people how to get started, so give it time and effort and you will have a lot of fun. Builds confidence once you put in the practice and then earn a new skill. The yoyo held up really well through a lot of heavy use and we still have it after about a year.

Stable and a massive catch zone with high performance.
Wow, that was a fun review session. I was so busy landing my more high-risk tricks with ease that I lost track of time. Now my hands are sore from the hard bind returns, but that's OK.What's in the box: The case, the yoyo, 10 strings. These strings seemed longer than their regular strings they include, maybe just a fluke. I have noted in nearly all brands, there is a bit of inconsistency on string length. These were perfect as they were right where I normally would tie them. This also includes 10 strings and a glove. There is also the fantastic zipper case.Shape is very ProtoStar/Northstart/SuperNova shaped. It's a good shape. It does flare out more. Lines are nice, clean, simple and uncluttered. Center of "cup" is flat and slightly recessed for a generous top-on finger spin area. I had trouble doing good finger spins because I cut my nails recently due to messing up my fingernails doing work stuff. The black/blue/silver splash colorway really looks nice to me. The laser engraving clearly identifies the yoyo, which is a very good feature I like very much! Surface has a slight texture to it, however it did not do well with finger grinds, so the included glove would make it a lot easier.Play: This yoyo was remarkably stable. During testing and evaluation, I did some "oops" and hit the yoyo wrong and it stayed on axis. Rejections are nice. IRG grinds work well if you're not too far off normal axis, otherwise it wants to rotate further for top-on finger spins and/or horizontal play. This is good if you're trying to learn DNA since it will want to get into position. The catch zone is quite generous and I was able to land risky binds, blazing Eli Hops and many other banger-type tricks easier than expected(especially for me). With weight pushed to the rims, we have long spinning and power, and even at low speeds, it maintained stability but lost power. Often you lost power and stability. If you lose power, you can always do a partial bind and regenerate, which this does very well. This allows you to really maximize that competition spin time. Of course, in competition, you're not going to want to let it spin down that far. This yoyo does not include a lubed bearing for beginner play. That's OK. This is pre-configured with a stock concave bearing. If you're looking for a first metal, this is worth considering. Need an EDC? Yeah, this would do it, especially since it comes with a nice case to protect it. Need a 5A yoyo as a beater? This is a fantastic 5A design. Need something for casual play or competition? This does both well. The stability would make it good to buy 2 for 3A playOverall, another good yoyo at a fantastic price. Depending on the price, you can get your competition set for a crazy low price. Even at the higher price, it's still super affordable!

Fun Throwback for the Kids!
I bought this yo-yo for my boys and showed them some old school tricks I used to do. We had a great time playing together and it was really fun to see them learn. The yo-yo works well, though it’s not super fancy or high-tech. Still, it’s a solid toy that brought a lot of smiles!

Great yoyo for the price point!
The yoyo looks fantastic, this colorway is great. I have been used to bearings that are open but I noticed that the bearing of this yoyo is covered with those flat o rings. Will be a little hassle when cleaning but that should be awhile before it's needed as this yoyo plays well out of the box. There's a very very little amount of vibe but not so much that it will affect the use of the yoyo. Tried to tune it and I suppose it improved a little. Though I've had other yoyos that have similar amount of vibe and I have no problems with them. The shape of the yoyo feels comfortable in my hand. The case, glove, and the extra strings that came with the yoyo are a plus! Though I just wish the case has a pouch on one side for placing the extra strings. Spin times didn't seem to be longer than I was expecting it to have which is my only true gripe. With the spin time not as long, taking half a star off to a 4.5. But overall, the yoyo is a good buy! 🪀

Damaged. Looks like it was used.
Product came a day early, but was chipped, scratched, and scuffed. It looks like it was used aggressively from how deep the chips are.

Affordable and good quality!
My 10 year old son used his birthday money to buy this for himself. The price made it something he could afford, and the extras he received were really great. The yoyo comes worh instructions for tying the string that worked so effectively my 10-year old figured it out. It's a quality metal yoyo. The case fits the product well and we love that it comes with extra string--as one has already gone through the washing machine (ah kids! 😊)If you want a professional yoyo to start with this id a great choice.

Hard to use, seems to be missing some parts
Our kit seems to have been missing everything but the yoyo and case, we really needed the beginner bearing. The Yoyo didn't work as I thought. The aluminum was light and had a nice design, however, it didn't have a good string. The string was flimsy and not durable. When I tried to use the yoyo it flopped around sometimes after 1 or 2 up and downs. Overall, I don't think you should get this yoyo, or at least buy a different string.
