Problem solved
Solved my problem of my Smarthome failing throughout the night ..suddenly it would stop taking the reading of temp/RH and of course Vivosun was no help in solving my problem so figured it was cheap enough to just buy and try ..luckily it worked ..my last one was about a year old ..so guess they have a shelf life lol

Doesnt work as well on older E42
Ever since the E42 accessories have been updated. The new cord replacements are extremely intermittent with connection :( Swear by this company so in due time I'll be updating them so no intermittent issues

Not the best life-span
This lasted about a month. I had a feeling something was up when my H19 was going through water like crazy for humidity control. The H19 completely stop working, fortunately I had an extra sensor probe lying around, plugged it and back to operating. I did contact Vivosun which politely stated the probes are state-of-the-art Swiss made. I don't know about Swiss made, I have Swiss watches that haven't failed in 30 years!

Was broken, never worked so returned.
This never worked, it was broke when we received and the package wasn't open so it may have just been a defective one.

Problem solved!
Had to keep unplugging the old one to get to work. This took care of the problem. Would give 5 stars but I should not have had to buy in the first place after only less than a year of using
