Great For Gigs
I've had a pair of these shoes for several years and I've worn them completely out. That's not a bad thing, though. They've taken a lot of abuse. I usually wear these shoes when I'm playing in a band. We play long sets in which I stand nearly the entire time, usually 3-4 hours. These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes for standing for long periods that I've ever owned. I admit that they're a bit too sporty for a tux, but I get payed to play, and I doubt if anybody's looking at my shoes. I was very happy to see that after all these years they still are available. I'm ordering another pair. Maybe two!.Update: 01/07/2014Well, I guess I spoke too soon. On the outside, the new shoes I ordered are the same as my 6-year old pair. That's where the similarity ends. The comfort and support that made my old shoes ideal are no longer there. The new insert no longer has the same support or cushion. The padded tongue is half the thickness it used to be. And the heel seems harder. I'd like to cut them in half to see if they changed anything on the inside. I'm changing my review from five stars to three. The new shoe is not bad, but it's not great like it used to be. Sigh.

while being good for business suit attire for work
I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis for around 3 years. I wear custom orthotics and have had injections from the podiatrist, but although lessened, the pain has been pursistant. I have gone through several different pairs of dress shoes trying to find comfort, but my feet were always tired and hurting after a short while, and by the end of the day, I couldn't wait to get my running shoes on. I was looking for a shoe that would give me the comfort of a sneaker, while being good for business suit attire for work. I came across these shoes, and became intrigued. I had never worn Ecco shoes before, but my mom has worn them for years and always swore by them. After reading the reviews, I figured I would give them a shot. AND I'M GLAD I DID! I can attest that from the very moment I first put them on, I could feel a difference. Over the past few weeks, they have provided me with all day comfort, and my feet have been feeling much better. I've had several co-workers comment on their stylish look, as well as "those look comfortable" and I have told them, they are the best pair of dress shoes I've ever owned, get some. Now on sizing, I read the reviews about the sizing being bigger than normal. I looked at Zappos sizing chart which was a bit different than the one here on Amazon, and decided to go with their sizing. I normally wear a size 11 shoe. But I ordered the 44 in these, which says 10-10.5. Zappos sizing says a 44 is an 11, so I went that route. The 44 fits me perfectly.

DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES!!!
I always wait to give a product review on shoes until I've owned them for one year. It's been one year and one month and the souls of these shoes are disintegrating! I spent a lot of money on these shoes in hopes they would have quality souls. My typical issue is the soul separating from the shoe or the soul cracking. I've never seen this. I'm an engineer who spends his entire day behind a desk. At home I work in my shop with concrete floors you can eat off of. There is no excuse for this quality from this brand and cost!!!! Here's a link to a picture I took ol the soul of this shoe after one year and one month of use: [...]

I am very disappointed in the sizing of this shoe
I am very disappointed in the sizing of this shoe. I bought this shoe in what I thought was an 11 US size, but it came in a range of 11 to 11.5. When a person buys a shoe, he or she wants an exact fit not a range. This is the second time I bought these shoes ( first time in person, and they fit great for a couple of years), and now it appears the quality control is inconsistent. I would have returned them because I have never worn them except to try them on, but this year my family and I moved, so in all of the time consumption of transitioning and getting settled, I never got around to it. I would re-evaluate my rating if the seller were to contact me to try and make good on their product.

comfortable, and good looking
This review is for my second pair of Neoflexor Oxford Shoes. The first pair, bought from a ECCO outlet store, was outstanding - durable, comfortable, and good looking. The second pair, bought from Amazon (this not their fault) did not hold up or last as long. The stitching around the sole started to come apart within 6 months. I re-glued them which held for a while, then had to pin them. They finally gave way in another area. A week later the sole started to come apart at the toe creating a trip hazard. I would like emphasize this an ECCO quality issue since the shoes started to be made in China and not an Amazon issue.

Good Shoes
I read the reviews that said these run large so I ordered 1/2 size smaller but wish I wouldn't have - they run true to size for me. I can make them work with dress socks but not thicker, casual socks. The color looks more red on the computer but are a rich brown in reality, which I really like. This is my 4th pair of Ecco shoes and I'm completely sold on the company. Ecco brand is the most comfortable dress/casuals I've owned. These have an athletic look that is great for business casual dress. These don't have leather inside the shoe which all of my other Ecco brand shoes do. These have polyester. I hope Ecco is not leaning toward "cheaper to build" like most corporations strive for. I can't comment on whether the poly lasts longer because I haven't owned them long enough. They are very comfortable, however. Even though I've only worn them a few weeks, I would certainly recommend them to a friend.

He loved this shoe
This is the exact model (a few years old), the exact same size, my partner owned and wore on vacation after vacation until the sole came unglued. He loved this shoe, and likes ECCO, because they fit narrow feet. Guess what . . . same exact model and size as the other pair, but this pair is too wide. Nothing has changed on our end, in weight or shoe size. ECCO was one of the few brands left to people who don't have short, fat, hobbit shaped feet. Sigh . . . This is still a nice looking shoe, one good for vacations where you need to limit yourself to a walking/evening show in one. It's too bad it's too wide, even with the laces tied as tight as possible and a 2nd insert added. Buy it if you are not expecting the narrow shoe of a few years ago. :(
