2nd update 10/2/20- finished the 3rd bottle and there is absolutely no change in my skin tone. THIS DOES NOT WORK for south Asian skin, for reference I’m Pakistani and I have golden beige skin color (according to my foundation/concealer lol!). For the price I paid I honestly had really high hopes this would work. Ugh. What a waste of freaking money! I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.Update 8/23/20- I am about to finish up 2nd bottle. I’m still taking 5-6 pills a day (2-3 pills twice a day). I have missed taking vitamin C pill (1000 ml) once or twice these last 2 months but overall I have been really consistent taking these. And I have to say: I AM NOT SEEING ANY RESULTS!!!I just ordered my 3rd bottle. I am extremely concerned I am going to be really disappointed but want to give it my all- the product claims to make a difference when 3 while bottles have been taken. I’ll update when I’m done taking the 3rd bottleSo far I have finished one bottle, 5-6 pills a day (2-3 twice a day) and have noticed absolutely no change. I am south Asian and have medium (San beige) skin tone. I will update after 2nd and 3rd bottle. Really hoping this works!

I’ve been using these for just over two weeks. Haven’t noticed any whitening yet since it’s still early, but I like that they’re easy to take and I haven’t had any side effects. The packaging looks clean and professional. I’ll keep using them to see if the results show up with more time.

I like this. Skin looks glowing. I followed the top reviews which is lengthy and informative and I took this occasionally with 1000mg of vitamin C. I noticed my already fair areas glow a lot after 1 month usage of 5 pills on average a day but my darker shade of skin on my arms have not really gone off yet. I suppose it could work if I continue using this for 6 months and above. To notice any effect, it's best to use 4-6 pills per day otherwise your results might be slower. Began using since end May and 4 -5 pills per day(2 -3 pills in the day, 2 at night).There are some weeks I stopped using because I suspected it was causing constipation and heatiness. There was one review that did say they had constipation so I was very cautious. It turned out to be true for me. I'm not a doctor but this is my own advice. Take it or leave it. Please take more water if you tend to have a drier internal body disposition and already prone to constipation or piles even with good water intake. The best is to take 2-3 early in the morming with 2-3 cups of water-you can spread out within the few hours before lunch .Just don't forget to drink extra water when you take these . Continue drinking your normal water intake throughout the day. Try to take the evening dosage of 2-3 pills early in the evening before dinner so there will good opportunity to drink enough water. I made mistake or not drinking enough water during the day and taking the last dose late at night just before bed. The long period between sleeping and waking meant body is without water or food and somehow it didn't go well and I ended up getting constipated continuously. Dehydrating for me. Try to take the heavier dose early and first thing in the morning.-you can take 2-3 pills at a go but remember to drink water . The ratio that works for me is 1 pill:1 cup of water (200-250ml) which you can take your time to drink in the morning and complete before lunch.Try to supplement with 1-2 cups coconut water (no sugar added) in a day.It helps to ease constipation and rehydrates body. I take coconut water daily for this reason .I love having soups for lunch so that increases water intake. Don't take too much fibre or it will cause constipation.Remember to take the last dose of pills early in the evening so you have few hours of time to catch up to drink enough water and go to bathroom and feel relaxed before you go to bed. In total, with the consumption of the pills, my average daily water intake has to be 8-9 glasses.I've decided to finish my remainder dosage and not purchase this anymore mainly because it's easy to manage when working from home but it's different when it's time to return to office. I'm the type that can skip water or food when it gets too busy and this will get me into trouble. There are other good things about this product. Maybe it is just me but I feel it can regulate hormones- my hair grows faster and my cycles are regular and and clears faster.Remember this is based on my own observation on 4-5 pills a day. You may need to groom a little more if faster hair growth means hairier side burns or faster regrowth on areas that you don't want hair to outgrow too fast. No point looking fair but you have visible hairy areas on face or body. Having fairer skin means hair will be more noticeable. Feel A little sad because this product is superior and does work to brighten the skin. Feel 1-2 shades lighter and glowing and it indirectly regulates hormones but because I can't keep up with the water intake and since my body finds this very drying, I ahd to find an alternative. Found one with great reviews and at a much more affordable price and I'll only need to take 2 pills per day. It's Simply Brightening Enzyme from i-Queen and it retails under $SGD30 (more than 1/3 - of the price of Mermaid MU) and most people have reported full body whitening after at least 6 months usage. Don't mean to be disrespectful in this review by mentioning other competitor brand names but this is just to benefit anyone who happen to face the same situation. We love you Mermaid MU Whitening Pills but my body just cannot deal with it very well. So i'll give the other brand a try and see if any results after 6 months. If there are no good results with the new product , I might come back to this but have to lower my dosage to 3-4 a day or look for other brands.
