Not a fan
I found it a bit bland. I like stronger coffee.

I LOVED this coffee! It has a nice level of acidity, but is smooth at the same time!

15 Rios Coffee Columbia Med. Roast Whole Bean 12 oz
This 12 ounce bag of medium roast whole beans are 100 percent Arabica coffee from Columbia. The flavor is excellent—smooth and complex with a bright slightly acidic note with no harsh or bitter elements—simply delicious. I ground the beans using a burr grinder on a medium setting and then brewed the coffee in a good quality automatic drip machine that permits the temperature and intensity to be set. I used the same settings and quantity as always and as mentioned the results were excellent. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in February 2024 the expiration date is 8 months in the future but dates will vary.

Ridiculously good coffee
In terms of flavor, aroma and freshness, this is easily one of the nicest whole-bean coffees I've had. It's extremely aromatic, with the beans themselves having notes of chocolate, caramel, and fruit. The beans are not at all oily, which suggests to me that they've been carefully and lovingly roasted so as to retain the oils that impart all of this incredible flavor. This pays off, as all of this complexity makes it straight into the brewed coffee, which isn't overly acidic or bitter (depending on brewing method, of course). I use it for pour-over, and it produces a cup of flavorful, complex coffee with obvious fruit and vanilla notes both on the nose and palate. It's honestly been a joy to brew and to drink.

Very good with lots of chocolate and sweetness!
Very good coffee, it is filled with a lot of chocolate and sweetness in its flavor profile. I couldn't taste any green apple as they claim, though there is what I felt is a date-like and banana aftertaste to it. The coffee did give me a little difficulty grinding down, though. I needed to just re-grind it about three tines despite using my most powerful machine, which is interesting. So you might have the same issue. But it brews nicely, and the aroma will instantly make you swoon. There's no bitterness in sight, simply a smooth drink throughout. The value is a bit steep, yet it will not disappoint and impress.

Very Aromatic
I have reviewed dozens of coffees for Vine and this is one of the most aromatic coffees that I have gotten. Immediately upon removing from the box, one can smell the coffee through the valve on the bag. Grinding the beans, it smelled glorious, and likewise, the kitchen smelled like this coffee. It tastes very good too, nice and smooth and on the light side for a medium roast.

Perfect blend
The 15 RIOS COFFEE, ESPECIAL, Arabica Colombian Whole Bean is the (real) deal. Not like other coffee that claims 100% Colombia coffee. We travel to Columbia a lot. And while where there, we always get their coffee. We have gone to places where they process coffee, and learned the difference between good quality coffees and okay coffees. This coffee is of good quality because it does have the quality information that leads to their process facility. If you’re looking for quality coffee this the one
