Ridge Backpacks

The Ridge Classic backpack is far better than you might imagine... This isn't your box-store 'back-to-school' variety of backpacks. It's well-made, thoughtfully designed, and surprisingly large. Not only will it gobble-up all of your textbooks, but when I gave mine a more realistic test for my uses, I was able to pack it with several full-size studio microphones (which were inside a sizable hard-shell case), an audio mixing board, a pile of cables and connectors, a small microphone stand, a gooseneck stand, a microphone pop-guard, and several notebooks, folders, and books... oh, and some snacks — all with room to spare!The pack is made with a strong fabric designed to stop any rips or tears in their tracks, though after packing mine as I did, I failed to see how it could rip — unless I threw in a knife collection or a bunch of sharp scissors someday...The Ridge Classic backpack also comes with a well-designed water-resistant USB port that enables you to plug a device - such as a smartphone - into a charger or anything else packed inside the bag, without having to unzip the pack... Or you could use it to charge a USB device - such as a laptop - from inside the bag, by connecting a charger to the outside port. Either way, it's not only convenient, but likely to keep people from forgetting their devices while on the go, and makes it incredibly simple to charge without having to unpack your devices...As someone who tends to use bags and backpacks continually until they are in shreds and no longer useful, I am very much looking forward to years of service from the Ridge Classic backpack. This quality bag is likely to outlast my smartphones and tablets – as well as all of my other bags and packs – and just might be my new favorite way to carry everything with me when I'm on the road...I highly recommend the Ridge Classic backpack!

I purchased this backpack in December for travel. It’s perfect! I’ve been using it everyday since! Lots of pockets and very durable. Padded laptop compartment, hidden RFID pocket, and secret AirTag pocket! To many pockets to explain. All the bells and whistles I must say! I own other Ridge products such as the carbon fiber wallet, knife, and pen. I would definitely recommend buys this backpack and many other products Ridge has to offer!

Amazing backpack. they changed the zipper for the laptop compartment to a side zip. perfectly water proof. I wear this in Ireland for school and none of the contents inside ever get wet.

I really like this commuter bag. I bought it in olive and the color is super classy. There are quality details and stitching throughout the backpack. It fits my laptop and any other personal items I want to take with me. I love how padded and ergonomic the straps are and how it has a charging cable and so many protective pockets. I really feel like I can travel safe and secure with my electronics with this backpack. I recommend it for anyone wishing to do the same! Your back will also thank you!!

Trash trash trash. Bought the classic backpack. Almost $100 and i got a sorely looking plastic bag of crap that couldnt hold a 10" laptop or a wet tampon on its best day. NO padding, no space for ANYTHING. The laptop sleeve is a funny joke. The padding on the back is literally non-existent. Front compartment couldnt even hold a #2 pencil. THIS BACK PACK IS GARBAGE SAVE YOUR MONEY, or spend extra for something worth it.Update: bought the commuter instead and it is much higher quality and better storage options. Definitely upgrade.Update 2: because I just happened to be looking at my reviews and ridge seems to be up to something sneaky. The old classic is no-longer existent. They have since taken what used to be the commuter bag and re-labeled it as the new “classic”. Haven’t bought the new commuter so I can’t comment on the quality of the new one. Buy with caution.
