The screw on cable is simple to use, yet secure when installed. The silicone is durable for contact and moisture, e.g. rain. This is a repurchase of identical tags I purchased a few years ago. These are bright and easy to ID. The steel cable and screw lock are strong. The weak point are the grommets. Don’t expect the grommets to stay in place for a long time or many trips and once they disconnect from the silicone cover, don’t expect the tag to remain in intact (the steel cable will likely tear the tag). Nonetheless I do reco these tags for the positives. Not perfect but good enough!
